  • Publication number: 20160329957
Abstract: A telecommunications system may be configured to impove linearity and blocking. In some aspects, the telecommunications system may include a duplexer for coupling a common port to a receive path and a transmit path. A distributed low-noise amplifier having two or more separate active devices (e.g., amplifiers) may be positioned in the receive path. A filtering element (e.g., a band-pass filter) may be positioned between the two or more separate active devices. A signal may be routed by the duplexer through the distributed low-noise amplifier. • Patent number: 9194416
Abstract: A self-drilling screw made of an austenitic or other stainless steel, is provided having a drilling tip. The shank is integrally formed of an austenitic or other stainless steel and has a galvanically applied thin coating at least in the tip region, with the coating being harder than a non-coated region. The thin coating has a pearl-like or columnar surface, a coating thickness of at least 2 ?m and a hardness in a range of from 500 to 1500 HV0.3. The self-drilling screw can be produced more simply than a typical self-drilling screw, in which the drilling tip consists of a harder material than the shank and is welded to the shank made of stainless steel. The coating ensures the drilling capacity and thread formation.

  • Patent number: 8959002
Abstract: Readings of a characteristic of the yarn along the longitudinal direction of the yarn are detected. Values of a yarn parameter are determined from the readings. An event field contains a quadrant of a two-dimensional Cartesian coordinate system, whose abscissa defines an extension of yarn parameter values in the longitudinal direction and whose ordinate defines a deviation of the yarn parameter from a desired value. Densities of events in the event field are determined from the values of the yarn parameter and their extensions in the longitudinal direction. A yarn body is represented as an area in the event field. The area on the one hand is delimited by the abscissa, on the other hand by the ordinate and further by a line in the event field that substantially follows a constant event density. The representation of the yarn body permits a clearing limit to be defined in a rapid and rational manner.

  • Publication number: 20130346007
Abstract: The measured values of a property of a yarn along its longitudinal direction are detected for the characterization of a yarn moved along its longitudinal direction. The values of a parameter of the yarn are determined from the measured values. An event field is provided, whose abscissa indicates an extension of parameter values in the longitudinal direction and whose ordinate indicates a deviation of the parameter from a set point value. Densities of events in the event field are determined from the values of the parameter and its extension in the longitudinal direction. A test material body is calculated in the event field as an area, which is delimited by the abscissa on the one hand, by the ordinate on the other hand, and further by a line which substantially follows a constant event density. The area is specified numerically. At least one value of the numerical specification is output as a characteristic of the yarn.
