  • Publication number: 20180216377
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments include an electromechanical lock configuration for use in locking, particularly curtain type doors typically used to close garage spaces but also used for closure of industrial and commercial spaces for alternative purposes. Aspects of the electromechanical lock configuration may also find applications in locking of other closure doors or panel members whether they be of the curtain door type. The electromechanical lock configuration includes a latchable restraining mechanism that includes a latch bolt assembly having a linearly movable latch bolt movable between a withdrawn position and an extended active position that restrains the door or closure from moving from the closed position. The latch bolt assembly includes a selectively operable electrically activated latch drive for moving the latch bolt between a withdrawn position and an extended active position through a drive gear. A manual override is also included.

  • Patent number: 9894393
Abstract: A client device requests a streaming video from a storage device, which encodes the video's frame in communication packets according to an encoding protocol for transmission to the client. The client device decodes the communication packets to obtain frame segments and a frame marking header indicating a boundary of the video frame relative to other video frames in the video. The communication packets may also include other segment headers indicating a relative ordering of corresponding frame segments. The client device determines, based on the frame marking header, whether a sufficient number of communication packets have been received to render a video frame. In response to determining that the sufficient number of communication packets has been received, the client device assembles the video frame from the frame segments corresponding to the video frame and presents at least a portion of the video by rendering the assembled video frame.

  • Publication number: 20180022150
Abstract: Disclosed is a device for diverting water from within a channel of a wheel having a bead ring. The device comprises an adapter having a cylindrical depression, the cylindrical depression comprising a socket for securing the device to a wheel. The device further comprises a diverter arm coupled to the adapter and extending away from the adapter, the diverter arm extending laterally outward and comprising one or more ramps. The adapter may be bolted into a bead ring of the automobile wheel. The one or more ramps may be disposed within a channel of the wheel between the bead ring and the face of the wheel. A side of the diverter arm facing the channel may be curved to allow the ends of the one or more ramps to lie flush against the channel. The one or more ramps may be inclined away from the face of the wheel.

  • Patent number: 8712833
Abstract: The subject application is directed to a system and method for selective control of advertising messages on distributed document processing devices. Device identification data is first received corresponding to the identity of networked document processing devices available for display of selected advertising content. Device selection data representing a selected subset of the networked document processing devices is then received, with the selection made in accordance with the received identification data. Next, customization data is received corresponding to a selected display parameter associated with the selected advertising content. The selected advertising content and the received customization data are then communicated to each of the networked document processing devices in the selected subset. Each of the document processing devices then commences the display of the selected advertising content in accordance with the customization data.

  • Patent number: 8237970
Abstract: Selective rerouting of document processing jobs is disclosed. A printer driver first converts electronic document data is into a device compatible format and assigned a unique document ID. The printer driver then determines a set of network devices, such as document processing devices, that are participating in the performance of received document processing jobs. The converted document data is then divided into portions and one or more portions are then sent to each of the participating network devices. One of the devices is then selected as the output device, whereupon the output device broadcasts/multicasts a request for processed data portions from each of the other network devices. The received portions are then recombined, and released for further processing in accordance with the received document processing job.

  • Publication number: 20110164279
Abstract: The subject application is directed to routing electronic documents for processing using a transient email address. A document processing gateway automatically generates a transient email address in response to a non-electronic mail request to do so. A mail server routes a document processing request directed to the transient email address to a document processing device. Upon completion of the routing process or other similar event, the transient email address is deleted.

  • Publication number: 20110063678
Abstract: A system and method for controlled monitoring of pending document processing operations is provided. Each document processing request received by a document processing device is assigned a job name and is associated with a user which together make up a job identification. A user then logs onto the document processing device to view pending jobs, which are displayed to the user by only job identification. Those jobs with which the user is associated are visible to the user on the document processing device, including the status and file name. The user is thereby also able to modify or delete those pending jobs with which the user is associated. Jobs not associated with the user are not visible to the user or details pertaining to those jobs are not visible to the user.

  • Patent number: 7889374
Abstract: The subject application is directed to a mobile document processing system and method. A request for a transient address corresponding to mobile document processing operations is first received from an associated user. Upon receipt of the request, a transient address is generated corresponding to the associated user. Transient address data is then generated for routing electronic documents in accordance with a received document processing request. A document processing request is then received corresponding to a request for the performance of processing of at least one electronic document. The at least one electronic document is then routed to an associated document processing device, data storage device, or facsimile device corresponding to the transient address. The associated document processing device, data storage device, or facsimile device then commences a document processing operation according to the received document processing request.
