Abstract: A junction box has a main body defining an interior space and a lid hingedly connected to the main body for use in enclosing the interior space. The main body includes an inlet for allowing an end of electrical cable to be positioned with the interior space. The inlet is formed by a first pair of spaced flaps between which is defined a first slot into which the electrical cable is to be positioned and a second pair of spaced flaps between which is defined a second slot into which the electrical cable is to be positioned. Each of the first pair of flaps is arranged to extend outwardly from the defined first slot at an angle that is away from the interior space to provide a structure that will inhibit a pushing of the electrical cable further into the interior space. Each of the second pair of flaps is arranged to extend inwardly from the defined second slot at an angle towards the interior space to provide a structure that will inhibit a pulling of the electrical cable from the interior space.

Abstract: A kit includes a pair of items of footwear; wherein each item of footwear includes a brace that is arranged to be releasably secured to at least part of a wearer's leg and/or foot; a platform that is operably connected to the brace; and a securing mechanism for releasably securing a balancing member, or a stack of balancing members, underneath the platform. The kit includes balancing members for each item of footwear so that one balancing member can be replaced with another balancing member that has a smaller ground-contacting area, or so that it can have another balancing member with a smaller ground-contacting area stacked underneath it.

A seal member (18) is shaped to fit within the cavity such that when the seal member moves away from the aperture flow is permitted in the channel toward and through the aperture. The valve is for incorporation with a tap device, particularly for use with a “mini-keg” of beverage.

Abstract: An attachable RFID tag is described having a containment head portion (1) containing a passive RFID transponder (8) and an attachment portion comprising an elongate projection therefrom, which projection is discontinuously threaded, with a screw-threaded portion (5) and an unthreaded portion (6) of longitudinal extent greater than the thickness of the item to be tagged. A tagging system and a method of tagging and of operating a tagging system are also described.

Abstract: The invention provides a system of pinpoint lighting comprising a plurality of lens units supplied with light by the separated tail ends of a fiber optic cable of which the remote input end is supplied by a simple light source. The lens provides separate beams of light which are directed at individual articles such as individual items of jewelry in a display case. Each lens unit is adjustable so that the beam direction can be varied on the one hand and the beam intensity can be varied on the other hand.

Abstract: A doll has a head, torso and limbs. One of the limbs is jointed to provide a distal portion which is pivotal relative to a proximal portion. Pneumatic operating devices are provided for effecting the pivotal motion and these include an actuator which is manually operable and pneumatically connected to a pressure responsive member accommodated in the proximal limb portion. The actuator is a variable volume member such as a pressure bulb which may take the form of one of the other limbs of the doll. The pressure responsive member is connected to the distal limb portion by a connector in such a way that operation of the pressure responsive member by the actuator causes pivotal movement of the distal limb portion. In a preferred embodiment, the pressure responsive member is located in the upper portion of one of the arms and the movement of the lower arm effected thereby causes the lower arm to move towards the face and give the impression of blowing a kiss on its return movement.
