    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration for a group-common physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), where the group-common PDSCH is repeated for a number of repetitions. Accordingly, the UE may determine this number of repetitions and then monitor for the group-common PDSCH based on the number of repetitions. In some implementations, the group-common PDSCH may include a semi-static repetition scheme, where the number of repetitions is indicated via a group aggregation factor. Additionally or alternatively, the group-common PDSCH may include a dynamic repetition scheme, where the number of repetitions is indicated via a group repetition number. Additionally, the techniques described herein may enable the configuration for the repeated group-common PDSCH to include gaps between each repetition of the group-common PDSCH and for the UE to transmit acknowledgment feedback for the repetitions of the group-common PDSCH.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently allocating resources for multicast feedback from one or more user equipment (UEs) and efficiently retransmitting information in transport blocks to the one or more UEs. If a UE fails to decode one or more transport blocks of a set of transport blocks from a base station, the UE may report feedback, such as a negative acknowledgment (NACK), to the base station. The base station may receive the feedback from the UE and potentially from other UEs that failed to decode one or more transport blocks of the set of transport blocks, and the base station may multicast one or more outer-coded transport blocks to the UEs. Each of the outer-coded transport blocks may include a different combination (for example, a linear combination) of transport blocks of the set of transport blocks.

A wireless communication device receives one or more radio link control (RLC) packet data units (PDUs) of a sequence of RLC PDUs. The wireless communication device determines missing RLC data PDUs in the sequence of RLC PDUs based on the received one or more RLC PDUs. The wireless communication device receives a first uplink (UL) grant. The wireless communication device transmits a first RLC status report including an indication of a first subset of the missing RLC PDUs less than all the missing RLC PDUs, the indication of the first subset of missing PDUs being based on a size of the first UL grant. The wireless communication device modifies a RLC status prohibit timer based on the transmitted first RLC status report indicating less than all the missing RLC PDUs.

A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, system information indicating an MCCH message configuration. For example, the UE may transmit the request for the MCCH message by a random access preamble or a radio resource control (RRC) message. UEs may measure a multicast channel to determine channel state information for the multicast channel. After failing to receive a multicast transmission, UEs may transmit an acknowledgment feedback message over one of the shared uplink control channel resources that is associated with the set of channel state information determined by the UE. A base station that receives the acknowledgment feedback message may transmit a multicast retransmission for the UEs using transmission parameters that are adapted for the set(s) of channel state information associated with the occupied uplink control channel resource.
