  • Patent number: 11773653
Abstract: A double-layer coiled tubing double-gradient drilling system, on the basis of conventional drilling equipment, includes a double-layer coiled tubing system, separating fluid, a downhole lifting pump system, throttling control systems and a data monitoring system. Power fluid enters an annular space of the tubing through an adapter, passes through a downhole lifting pump, enters an inner pipe through a bridge channel, and enters the bottom hole through the drill bit. Return fluid enters an annular channel of the tubing through a recovery hole, then enters the inner pipe through the bridge channel and enters the lifting pump, and then enters a solid control system through the adapter and the control systems in sequence. Gradient control of the bottom hole pressure is realized through monitoring of the separating fluid and control of the drilling pump unit and throttling control systems. The problem of narrow safe drilling density window is solved.

  • Patent number: 11740374
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for hydrocarbon exploration using seismic imaging and, more specifically, measuring randomness in seismic data utilizing a vectorized disorder algorithm. The vectorized disorder algorithm is configured to measure the randomness level (e.g., noise) in seismic data to improve seismic data processing/imaging and the ability to expose subsurface geology. The vectorized disorder algorithm includes performing convolution of seismic data with a vectorized disorder operator having an extra dimension than the seismic data. A nonlinear reduction operation is performed on the vectorized output to generate a randomness distribution dataset having the same dimension as the input data. The randomness distribution dataset comprises data points representing the level of randomness for respective seismic data points. A more accurate seismic image is generated from the seismic data as a function of the measured randomness distribution.

  • Publication number: 20230266158
Abstract: Methods and systems for eccentric load error correction are disclosed. A plurality of weighing data sets for a weight having a mass value are obtained, where the weight is loaded at different positions on a weighing platform of a weighing device. Differences between each of the weighing data sets and the average value of the plurality of weighing data sets or the mass value of the weight are calculated. Sensor correction coefficients are calculated and updated when the maximum absolute value of the differences exceeds a pre-set threshold. The weighing data sets are updated. The above steps are repeated until the absolute values of all the differences are less than the pre-set threshold.

  • Publication number: 20230199247
Abstract: Traditional streaming sequentially downloads content fragments one by one from one CDN. The disclosed streaming method concurrently downloads content fragments from multiple CDNs. It first creates a sequence of bundles of fragments, and then downloads a subsequent bundle by spreading requests to download the fragments within the bundle to multiple CDNs simultaneously with each CDN acting as a channel to download a different fragment. Depending on business needs, various request dispatching strategies can be deployed. When there is a volume based pricing contract with a CDN, a dispatch strategy is to send more requests to the CDN in order to reach contract volume therefore reduce unit cost. Another strategy is to send the request for the earliest fragment to the fastest CDN in order to reduce latency and possibility of buffer underrun. Fault tolerance can be provided by re-routing a request failed at a CDN to another CDN.
