  • Publication number: 20080133621
Abstract: In one aspect, a method for managing documents or partial documents in an electronic document folder is provided. A validity indication, which is individual to the document or partial document and specifies a validity expiry time is assigned to a respective document, e.g. an e-mail, or a partial document, e.g. an e-mail attachment and is stored, the indication being assigned to an executable validity program. Once the validity expiry time has been reached, the executable validity program, assigned to the validity indication, is executed for the document or partial document with an assigned validity indication. • Publication number: 20070132128
Abstract: Porous carbon fibers, whose active centers are formed by pores that are filled at least in part by carbon and/or metal and/or metal carbide, obtainable by carbonization of organic or inorganic polymers, the use thereof for the adsorption or separation of gaseous substances, in particular of CO2, and also a method for the production thereof. First, a spinning mixture containing polyacrylonitrile-based polymer A and an organic or metallo-organic polymer B is produced. Next, the spinning mixture is spun to form mixed fibers of polymer A and polymer B. The mixed fiber is stabilized by oxidation. This is followed by carbonization or graphitization of the mixed fiber under non-oxidizing conditions in such a way that the polymer B forms a carbon and/or metal and/or metal carbide residue of at least 22 wt %, the residue forming active centers.

  • Patent number: 7219776
Abstract: A friction disc, in particular a brake or clutch disc, includes carbon fiber-reinforced ceramic composite material with at least one top surface formed as a friction surface. At least part of the friction surface is formed of a different material, in particular of a carbon-containing material. The different material exhibits lower wear and oxidation resistance than that of the rest of the friction surface and a supporting zone of the friction disc. A visual, audible or mechanical signal is produced under operating conditions due to comparatively greater wear. The signal provides a warning that the service life of the friction disc is being exceeded. A process for producing the friction disc is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20060190727
Abstract: In the English translation document, please add the paragraph at page 11 line 1, after the newly added ABSTRACT section heading, as follows: In order to operate a communication terminal for packet-oriented data transmission, at least one piece of status information is stored, for a communication terminal, in a memory unit associated with the communication terminal. Said status information is provided with a digital signature that is calculated from the status information by means of a private key for an asymmetrical encoding method associated with a first control unit associated with the communication terminal, for the resolution and/or conversion of network addresses. If the first control unit fails, a request is transmitted comprising the status information and the digital signature to associate the communication terminal with at least one second control unit, and the digital signature is checked. In the event of a positive check result, the communication terminal is associated with the second control unit.

  • Publication number: 20060098684
Abstract: The invention relates to a data communications method, a data communications system, and to a computer for use in a data communications system, whereby the data communications system has several clients. The computer contains a telephone conference and/or video conference data processing device, which supports a first data transmission protocol, and contains another data processing device that supports both the first as well as the second protocol, whereby the second protocol is also supported by clients. The data communications system permits a uniform resource management independent of the type and location of the connected resources and permits a uniform system control interface for monitoring both the H.323 standard as well as TDM/PCM-based proprietary resources.

  • Publication number: 20050259635
Abstract: The invention relates to a method, whereby the decision as to whether a protocol conversion is required or not is made according to a target datum contained in a signaling message, it is decided whether. The generation of a signaling message according to another signaling protocol is only then carried out if it is absolutely necessary. Said measures enable data losses to be limited as a result of the protocol conversion. Furthermore, for example, the load on the protocol conversion unit is reduced.
