Abstract: The apparatus has a valve arrangement which opens rapidly due to priming or prestressing of the valve plate by the pressure in the pressure chamber. When the valve is closed, pressure, built up in the pressure chamber space closed by the valve, applies a force to the valve member in the direction of its open position. The valve member is held closed by a holder arrangement. Following the development of a predetermined pressure in the pressure chamber, the holder arrangement releases the valve member such that the pressure in the pressure chamber forces the valve member to its open position opening the pressure chamber passage and permitting the pressure medium to surge onto the surface of the molding material. This apparatus is suitable for all high-stressed gases which must be released suddenly.

Abstract: Compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is phenylalkylamino, alkylamino, dialkylamino, piperidino, morpholino, thiomorpholino or 1-oxido-thiomorpholino;R.sub.2 is dialkylamino, piperidino, morpholino, thiomorpholino or 1-oxido-thiomorpholino; andR.sub.3 is halogen, alkoxy, alkylthio, phenylalkoxy or phenylalkylthio;and non-toxic, pharmacologically acceptable acid addition salts thereof. The compounds as well as their salts are useful as antithrombotics and antimetastatics.

Abstract: Analgesic and antipyretic pharmaceutical dosage unit compositions containing as an active ingredient a compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.5 is methyl or methoxy, and R.sub.4, R.sub.6 and R.sub.7 are hydrogen; orR.sub.6 is fluorine or chlorine, and R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.7 are hydrogen; orR.sub.7 is chlorine, and R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 are hydrogen; orR.sub.5 and R.sub.6 are methoxy, and R.sub.4 and R.sub.7 are hydrogen; orR.sub.4 is methyl or chlorine, and R.sub.5, R.sub.6 and R.sub.7 are hydrogen;and methods of using said compounds as analgesics and antipyretics.

Abstract: There are described pharmaceutical compositions containing as active substances benzothiazol-2(3H)-ones of the general formula ##STR1## wherein R represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl, methoxy, or ethoxy group. The pharmaceutical compositions serve as analgesics and antipyretics and possess little or no methemoglobin-forming activity.

Abstract: Compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen, halogen or alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms; R.sub.2 is hydrogen or alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms; andR.sub.3 is aromatic hydrocarbyl of 6 to 10 carbon atoms or an aromatic heterocycle of 2 to 9 carbon atoms and 1 to 2 nitrogen atoms and/or an oxygen or a sulfur atom, where each of said aromatic substituents may in turn be substituted with one or two alkyls of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, halogen, hydroxyl, trifluoromethyl, halophenyl or alkoxy of 1 to 3 carbon atoms;and non-toxic, pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof formed with inorganic or organic bases; the compounds as well as their salts are useful as analgesics, antipyretics, antithrombotic and antiphlogistics.

Abstract: The method of using compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine or cyano,R.sub.2 is fluorine, cyano, trifluoromethyl, nitro or alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms,R.sub.3 is cycloalkyl or alkyl, each of 3 to 5 carbon atoms, andR.sub.4 is hydrogen or --CO--R.sub.5, whereR.sub.5 is alkoxy of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, alkenyloxy of 2 to 5 carbon atoms, aryloxy of 6 to 10 carbon atoms, aralkoxy of 7 to 11 carbon atoms, or amino which may be mono- or di-substituted by alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, alkenyl of 2 to 5 carbon atoms, aryl of 6 to 10 carbon atoms and/or aralkyl of 7 to 11 carbon atoms,and non-toxic, pharmacologically acceptable acid addition salts thereof as antirheumatics and antiphlogistics.
