  • Patent number: 8661714
Abstract: The shoe is a foldable shoe with sufficient rigidity during use but allows for folding during periods of non-use. The shoe has an upper which is made of a flexible material that makes it possible to push the upper together in the longitudinal direction of the shoe. In a portion of the shoe there are reinforcing elements which run perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the shoe and maintain the form of the shoe in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the shoe. Rigid material is formed around the toe area and the heel area of the shoe. To make the shoe sufficiently rigid for use, an outer element that clamps onto the reinforcing elements, a stiff insole, or both is used.

  • Patent number: 8316559
Abstract: The invention relates to a shoe comprising an upper part and a sole, a support and inner part of an intermediate sole and an outer sole. The intermediate sole contains a damping element which comprises a plurality of first elements which are arranged adjacent to each other and which are embodied as a hollow body defining a receiving area in which an associated second element having a smaller cross-section than the first element can at least partially penetrate. The elements are coaxial. At least one part of the second elements have a prism or cylindrical form and are embodied at least partially as a massive part. Both of the elements, which are associated with each other, are connected together by means of an elastic connection section which only extends between the first element and the second element and the first element, the connecting section and the second element are embodied as a single piece.

  • Patent number: 7010871
Abstract: An outsole (1) for athletic shoes (2) having stud-type cleat elements arranged in the front sole area (3) and heel area (4), the cleat elements extending in a conically tapered manner from the base (6) thereof to the contact surface (7). To improve the outsole, in order to enable improved contact of the feet when they are placed on the ground, even when the ground is moderately hard, the height (hred) of at least one cleat element (5?) in the sole edge area (12) of the heel area (4) is reduced in relation to the average height (hnorm) of the other cleat elements (5?) in that area.

  • Publication number: 20040148806
Abstract: The invention relates to an outsole (1) for sports shoes (2) comprising nock-type elements arranged in the front sole area (3) and heel area (4), said nock-type elements extending in a conically tapered manner fro the base (6) thereof to the contact surface (7). The aim of the invention is to improve said outsole, in order to enable improved contact of the feet when they are placed on the ground, even when the ground is moderately hard. This is achieved by reducing the height (hred) of at least one nock-type element (5′) in the sole edge area (12) of the heel area (4) in relation to the average height (hnorm) of the other nock-type elements (5″) in said area.

  • Patent number: 6757991
Abstract: The invention relates to a shoe (1) with side lacing (2), a lacing or tensioning element (13) being pulled in a zigzag alternatingly through eyelets of two rows (4, 5) of eyelets (4.1, 4.2, 4.3 and 5.1, 5.2, 5.3) opposite one another, of which the first row (4) on the lace side (3) is on or above the sole (6), and the second row (5) likewise on the lace side (3), but opposite the first row (5) at a distance, is on a shield which runs over the instep (9), which shield has a location which can change relative to the instep (9). According to the object both quick closure and also quick loosening of this closure will be attainable. This is achieved in that the shield is a freely movable tension flap (8) which has an essentially stable shape, but which is flexurally elastic, and which on the side opposite the lace side (3), has a single pulling site (8.1 or 8.1.1) via which it is coupled to the shoe (1) with a tension connection (10) which can be locked and which is adjustable in its length (10.1).

  • Patent number: 6708427
Abstract: The invention concerns a sole, used as a throughsole, inner sole or insole for a shoe, e.g, a football boot with a flexible outsole. The sole ensures that when shooting on the volley in football or with similar loadings, the entire force can be transmitted to the ball or similar sports equipment by means of a special stiffening of the sole by tension elements attached to raised walls of the edge area of the sole.

  • Patent number: 6618959
Abstract: A cushioning insert (1) to be inserted in the heel zone of a shoe is provided with a honey-comb structure (2) which is improved in such a manner that it provides good cushioning properties and sufficiently supports the heel even if the outsoles or soles (16) of the shoe are relatively thin. To this end, the cushioning insert (1) is made of a structural unit that includes heel shell (3) and a gas-tight honey-comb structure that is provided on the upper side (7.1) or the lower side (10) of the shell bottom (7) of the heel shell (3).
