    Abstract: A medical device that includes a first body including a first actuation member including a first connector and a second actuation member. The medical device includes a second body for attachment to, and detachment from, the first body. The second body including an actuation wire, a second connector at a proximal end of the actuation wire, and a valve having one or more channels for receiving a material. Attachment of the first body with the second body results in the first connector engaging the second connector, such that movement of the first actuation member causes a corresponding movement of the actuation wire. Moving the second actuation member into the second body to interact with the valve is configured to selectively direct the material through the one or more channels.

    Abstract: Electric vehicles may have alternative positions for the drivetrain components such as the electric motor such as toward the rear of the vehicle. Thus, the hood/bonnet of the vehicle may be shortened and various features of the vehicle may be adjusted. For example, the driver may be seated at a position more towards the front of the vehicle. Various features of the vehicle may be adjusted to accommodate the driver's altered positioning. For example, the electric vehicle may include forward positioned side view minors that are disposed on an angled mounting arm such that the field of view of the mirrors meets regulatory requirements for vehicles. Additional embodiments incorporate a street view window disposed at the front portion of the vehicle and designed to allow increased forward visibility for the driver.

A bed extender slides between a retracted and extended positions. Barn door tailgates each move between closed, partially open, and fully open positions and include inner tailgates movable between stowed and deployed positions. The barn door tailgates and the inner tailgates enclose an extended region of a bed when the bed extender is extended position, the barn door tailgates are each partially open, and the inner tailgates are each deployed. The platform is enabled by a plurality of back-end application programming interface (API) resources. These API resources are event-driven (e.g., when an “event” associated with the claim occurs, the status of the claim changes and the API is provided with updated information indicative of the change). The platform includes a customized user interface (UI) that tailors the claim experience to a particular user's needs. The customization can be based off of stated user preferences and/or learned user preferences associated with the user's past behavior. A user can perform/request various services through the customized UI's self-service function (e.g., rent a car, find a hotel room, select a repair shop, etc.). Additionally, the customized UI can enable the user upload documents, track claim status, find relevant help topics, etc.
