  • Patent number: 5873482
Abstract: A tamper-evident closure for a container is provided. The container is formed with means at its open upper end for making a snap fit locking connection with a cover. The container has a peripheral flange with a skirt section that surrounds and is spaced radially from the container's side wall, and the cover has a depending skirt that extends down around the upper end of the container and has a free bottom edge that lies immediately adjacent to the flange. The flange has an outer surface that is flush with the adjacent portion of the outer surface of the skirt, so that essentially the flange appear to be a continuation of the skirt. As a consequence the closure formed by the cover (lid) and the container is resistant to opening by a small child.

  • Patent number: 5816674
Abstract: A container assembly includes a housing having open first and second opposite ends and an open top, a drawer in the form of a tote movable into and out of the housing, said drawer having an open top end, and a cover adapted to be releasably attached to said housing in covering relation to the open top of said housing. The cover and drawer also may be adapted to permit the cover to be releasably attached to the drawer so as to cover the open top end of the drawer. Each container assembly is configured so as to permit stacking a plurality thereof, with the bottom of one housing resting on the cover of a lower container assembly.

  • Patent number: 5065889
Abstract: A casserole dish and cover that cooperate to allow cooking in a vented and unvented condition as well as a controlled transition from a vented to an unvented state. The dish includes a cam ledge and the cover includes a lip that is rotatable and pivotable on the cam ledge to allow controlled venting and access to the interior of the dish.

  • Patent number: 4854930
Abstract: An apparatus for the supply from a fixed store of blanks of packaging material preferably of the type having a flat folded tubular structure comprising a support wheel provided with a continuous rotary movement bearing one or a plurality of angularly uniformly spaced articulated systems which project peripherally. Each of these articulated systems has one of its opposite rods developing in a piecewise linear manner with the third rod articulated at an intermediate point of the section of this piecewise linear development which projects peripherally to the greatest extent. The articulations on the bridge of these opposite rods of the articulated system have a cam follower structure operating with a corresponding cam, suction member means for the take up of the blanks in individual sequence from the fixed store being provided at the free end of this section of the piecewise linear development which projects peripherally to the greatest extent.

  • Patent number: 4826120
Abstract: A mounting bracket comprising a horizontal base with a pair of laterally spaced upwardly directed mounting arms terminating in spaced relation above the base in a pair of laterally outwardly formed downwardly directed elongate mounting channels. A pair of lugs are interposed in each channel along the length thereof and cooperate with the channel to define a snap-lock. A pair of oppositely directed support shoulders are integrally formed with the base and provide spaced coplanar support surfaces mounting opposed positioning ribs which cooperatively form a snap-lock retainer including converging forward portions and laterally enlarged rear seating portions. Retaining flanges are integrally formed with the base and depend therefrom into spaced overlying relation to the plane of the shoulder surfaces.
