  • Patent number: 11928526
Abstract: Techniques for standardizing a catalog of data and for using the standardized data to implement various APIs are disclosed. Non-standardized data is received. This data includes information describing items, customer information, and unstructured review data. The non-standardized data is converted to a standardized format, resulting in the generation of standardized data. The standardized data includes a hierarchy of defined categories. Each category is associated with a set of attribute types. The standardized data also includes anonymized profiles. The unstructured review data is also provided structure. A data model is generated based on the standardized data. Various APIs can then use the data model to perform operations.

  • Patent number: 11680208
Abstract: A coke oven can include an oven body, a foundation, and a plurality of beams separating the oven body from the foundation, A buckstay applies force to the oven body to maintain compression on the oven body during thermal cycling of the coke oven. The coke oven further comprises a spring-loaded compression device, which can include a restraining device, an anchor coupled to the restraining device, and a spring coupled to the restraining device. The anchor can be attached to one or more of the beams, the foundation of the oven, or to a similar compression device on an opposite side of the oven. The spring applies force between the restraining device and the one or more beams or foundation to compress the buckstay against the oven. The force applied by the spring can maintain structural stability of the coke oven over a plurality of thermal cycles.

  • Patent number: 10680512
Abstract: A switched-capacitor converter includes a rectifier at the output, a plurality of legs coupled between the input and the rectifier, and a controller. Each leg of the switched-capacitor converter includes a capacitor, and a switch device is connected to each leg. A first group of the legs is coupled to a first branch of the rectifier, and a second group of the legs is coupled to a second branch of the rectifier. The controller alternates switching of the first and second groups of legs after startup, to transfer energy from the input to the output during a first part of each switching cycle via the first group of legs and to ground during a second part of each switching cycle via the second group of legs. The controller or a current limited source provides for pre-charging of at least one of the capacitors during startup.

  • Patent number: 10484438
Abstract: A collaboration system may include a computing device that may communicate with the at least one other computing device via a computing network. The computing device may receive data that has been acquired using one or more non-destructive testing (NDT) inspection devices, receive an input that may cause a list of one or more experts indicated as available to collaborate to be derived. The computing device may also receive a selection of at least one expert from the list of experts. After receiving the expert selection, the computing device may establish a communication connection between the computing device and the at least one other computing device that corresponds to the at least one expert. Here, the communication connection may share data depicted on the computing device with the at least one other computing device.
