  • Patent number: 11799661
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a carbon capture adapter that may attach to high air flow systems. A carbon capture adapter may utilize the air flow foundations of a high air flow system to allow for capture of unfiltered ambient air, allowing for carbon removal and the scrubbing of the unfiltered ambient air. The carbon capture adapter may comprise of carbon sensors that may detect carbon levels of the air before and after the carbon has been scrubbed or removed from the ambient air. The carbon capture adapter may capture and transform the carbon into secondary substances that may be useful unto itself, even further limiting waste and environmental damage. The carbon capture adapter will have all inputs, outputs, processes, and flows that meet all aspects of a closed loop system that is specifically designed for CCS.

  • Publication number: 20230312371
Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing a liquid is disclosed. The apparatus can include a cap configured to connect to a container body having a chamber for containing the liquid. The cap can include a fill aperture through which the liquid is supplied to the container body and a pour aperture through which the liquid exits the apparatus. A fill lid can be rotatable about a pivot axis in a first direction to close the fill aperture and rotatable about the pivot axis in a second direction to open the fill aperture, the first direction opposite the second direction. A pour lid can be rotatable about the pivot axis in the first direction to open the pour aperture and rotatable about the pivot axis in the second direction to close the pour aperture. A filter assembly comprising a filter cartridge can connect to the cap.

  • Publication number: 20230310252
Abstract: As an example, a walker includes a first leg pair, a second leg pair and a cross beam connecting the first and second leg pairs in a parallel, spaced apart relationship. Each leg pair includes a U-shaped tube defining a front leg and a rear leg. A front strut is telescopically movable within the front leg and extends outwardly therefrom. A rear strut is telescopically movable within the rear leg and extends outwardly therefrom. A mechanical linear actuator includes a rotating element adapted to rotate relative to at least one of the front leg or the rear leg. The rotating element includes an interface with a track on the respective strut relative to which the rotating element rotates, whereby rotational motion of the rotating element translates to corresponding linear motion of the strut.

  • Patent number: 11601550
Abstract: Methods and systems described in this disclosure allow customers to personalize their phone experience when calling into an organization. In some embodiments, customers who may benefit from this service are identified based on the content of the customer's previous or current phone calls to the organization. The identified customers may be invited to enroll and to provide preferences for a customized Interactive Voice Response experience. In some embodiments, the customer can elect to hear the balances of one or more of his accounts without going through a phone menu or asking a representative to look up the relevant amounts. Once enrolled, when the customer dials into the organization and upon successful authentication, the organization proactively states the customer's account balances with no further customer request.

  • Publication number: 20230045190
Abstract: A firearm synchronized discharge device for facilitating a synchronized discharge of two or more firearms are described together with associated systems, firearms and methods. The device includes an actuator for engaging with a movable trigger of a first firearm, a sensor configured to generate a signal indicative of a force applied to the trigger and a first controller operatively coupled to the sensor and to the actuator. The actuator is configurable between a first configuration that prevents movement of the trigger toward a firearm-discharge position of the trigger, and a second configuration that permits movement of the trigger toward the firearm-discharge position of the trigger. When the force meets a criterion and the one or more other firearms are ready for discharge, the actuator is caused to transition from the first configuration to the second configuration to permit actuation of the trigger and discharge of the firearm.

  • Publication number: 20230013428
Abstract: In some examples, executable code causes a processor to execute a first function and enter a system management mode responsive to receipt of a first system management interrupt during the execution of the first function. The executable code causes the processor to pause execution of the first function, save a state of the processor in the system management mode, and exit the system management mode. The executable code causes the processor to execute a second function identified by the first system management interrupt and receive a second system management interrupt to enter the system management mode. The executable code causes the processor to restore the state of the processor in the system management mode and exit the system management mode. The executable code causes the processor to resume execution of the first function after exiting the system management mode.
