  • Publication number: 20180196278
Abstract: A reduced footprint collimator device to focus light beam over length of optical path for use in an optical cytometry device or other optical instrument where a focused beam of light is passed through a test medium and then sampled by a photomultiplier or multiple photomultipliers for analysis. This device provides alignment and focus of that beam and collimation along the entire beam path. In addition in order to reduce the overall footprint of the beam path this device uses a precision coated prism to redirect the optical path perpendicular to the entering optical beam. The reduced footprint collimator device to focus light beam over length of optical path generally includes a reduced footprint 90 degree collimator which allows light beam collimation, beam path alignment, selectable beam focal distance, and reduces stray light reflections all in a minimal footprint.an These features allows for a smaller overall instrument design.

  • Publication number: 20170370600
Abstract: A portable air conditioning assembly includes a box that may contain ice thereby facilitating the ice to cool an interior of the box. A handle is hingedly coupled to the box and the handle may be gripped. A fan unit is coupled to the box. The fan unit urges air inwardly with respect to the box. The fan unit includes a baffle to direct to air onto the ice. Thus, the ice may cool the air. The fan unit urges the cooled air outwardly from the box. Thus, the cooled air may cool a user.

  • Publication number: 20170315856
Abstract: A system is provided for clustering events. A first engine receives message data from a managed infrastructure that includes managed infrastructure physical hardware which supports the flow and processing of information. A second engine determines common characteristics of events and produces clusters of events relating to the failure of errors in the managed infrastructure. Membership in a cluster indicates a common factor of the events that is a failure or an actionable problem in the physical hardware managed infrastructure directed to supporting the flow and processing of information. Events are produced that relate to the managed infrastructure while converting the events into words and subsets used to group the events that relate to failures or errors in the managed infrastructure, including the managed infrastructure physical hardware. A situation room is provided with a collaborative interface (UI) for decomposing events from managed infrastructures.

  • Publication number: 20170223388
Abstract: A system includes a processor and a memory. The memory stores instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations including sending, via a transmitter, a primary video stream corresponding to a particular channel to a media device. The operations further include sending a secondary video stream to the media device. The secondary video stream is associated with a lower quality level than the primary video stream. Transmission of a frame of the secondary video stream is delayed with respect to transmission of a corresponding frame of the primary video stream.

  • Publication number: 20170161133
Abstract: A user interface system includes an extraction engine in communication with a managed infrastructure. The extraction engine in operation receives messages from the managed infrastructure and produces events that relate to the managed infrastructure and converts the events into words and subsets used to group the events into clusters that relate to failures or errors in the managed infrastructure includes managed infrastructure physical hardware. The managed infrastructure supports the flow and processing of information. A sigalizer engine includes one or more of an NMF engine, a k-means clustering engine and a topology proximity engine. The sigalizer engine determines one or more common steps from events and produces clusters relating to events. The sigalizer engine determines one or more common characteristics of events and produces clusters of events relating to the failure or errors in the managed infrastructure.

  • Patent number: 9661358
Abstract: A system includes a processor and a memory. The memory stores instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations including sending a primary multicast video stream and a secondary multicast video stream to a media device. The secondary multicast video stream is limited to intra-coded frames (I-frames) extracted from the primary multicast video stream. Transmission of each intra-coded frame (I-frame) of the secondary multicast video stream is delayed with respect to transmission of a corresponding I-frame of the primary multicast video stream. The delay is based on an amount of writing time to satisfy a buffer threshold of a video content buffer at the media device to prevent a noticeable time shift of video displayed by the media device when the media device switches from outputting the secondary multicast video stream to outputting the primary multicast video stream.

  • Publication number: 20170060663
Abstract: A method is provided for clustering events. Messages are received at an extraction engine from managed infrastructure that includes managed infrastructure physical hardware that supports the flow and processing of information. Events are produced that relate to the managed infrastructure. The events are converted into words and subsets used to group the events that relate to failures or errors in the managed infrastructure, including the managed infrastructure physical hardware. One or more common characteristics of events are determined and clusters of events are produced relating to the failure or errors in the managed infrastructure. A source address is used for each event as is a graph topology of the managed infrastructure to assign a graph coordinate to the event. Membership in a cluster indicates a common factor of the events that is a failure or an actionable problem in the physical hardware managed infrastructure directed to supporting the flow and processing of information.
