  • Patent number: 8152013
Abstract: A wall-mounting block or frame is used to mount fixtures to exterior building walls having siding. The wall-mounting block includes two major parts, a first or base section and a second or holding section which are both configured as cap-like structures detachably connected to each other with integrated, adjustable connectors. The present design eliminates the need for special hardware to attach the holding section to the base section, and helps prevent awkward mounting situations.

  • Publication number: 20090282764
Abstract: A siding system is arranged as individual interconnectable pieces, each representing an individual piece of natural building material, such as brick or stone. The individual pieces are preferably made of injection-molded plastic and include vertical interlocking mechanisms and horizontal alignment mechanisms which cooperate with the vertical interlocks. Good esthetics, as well as good weather proofing, are provided by maintaining a flat panel surface against a supporting wall or substrate.

  • Patent number: 7537819
Abstract: A single piece, plastic shim simplifies the process of shimming a fixture (such as a door) within a frame. The operation of the shim requires only that one piece of the shim be pulled so that the shim folds in on itself, filling the space between the frame and the fixture. Only a small portion of the shim extends beyond the frame, and needs to be cut. This arrangement avoids stress to the shim and the frame.

  • Publication number: 20090117326
Abstract: A siding system using multi-piece panels to provide a great deal of variety and flexibility, thereby facilitating a much easier and less expensive mounting process. Each of the panels is constituted by a template layer which forms at least one aperture. A protruding piece is sized and configured to fit into the aperture and be connected thereto. The protruding piece simulates natural building materials such as brick, stone, wood and the like. A wide number of different aperture sizes are available as well as a wide variety of different sizes, colors and textures for the protruding pieces that will fit therein.

  • Patent number: 7510153
Abstract: A wall-mounting frame is used to mount fixtures to building walls having siding. The wall-mounting frame includes two major parts, a base section and a holding section which are non-detachably connected to each other. The holding section is separated into two halves which pivot about the base section to hold surrounding siding to the base section once it has been attached to a wall substrate. The present design eliminates the need for special hardware to attach the holding section to the base section, and helps prevent awkward mounting situations.

  • Publication number: 20060006675
Abstract: A door jamb holding system includes two identical pieces, which are sufficiently flexible in their adjustment with respect to each other and the doorjamb so that a wide variety of different sizes and configurations of doors and door jambs can be temporarily held together using the two piece system. Interlocking teeth on both pieces allow a very quick and secure locking between the two pieces to hold the door to the jamb even under considerable stress.

  • Publication number: 20050199162
Abstract: Collapsible tables, including collapsible table tops, and collapsible table frames. The table top comprises multiple, relatively rigid, leaf elements which interlock with each other and/or articulate, and pull apart or fold for storage. Optional recesses in the edges of the table top releasably receive mounting structure on the table frame, or resilient mounting structure on edges of the table top is received in corresponding receivers on the table frame, thereby to releasably couple the table top and frame to each other. The frames include support arms underlying the table top. Loads from the table top typically pass through the support arms and thence to the frame. Improved structure supports the support arms from the frame body, passes loads to the frame body, as well as guiding and controlling movement of the support arms when the frame is being collapsed or expanded.

  • Publication number: 20050166507
Abstract: A mounting device is used to mount a structure, such as a light fixture, in a panel, such as a wall or a door. The mounting device includes two frame halves having identical inner surfaces with press-fit bushings so that the mounting operation can be carried out by merely pressing the two frame halves together. The outer surfaces remain smooth and unbroken since screw holes are not needed.

  • Publication number: 20030149759
Abstract: A computer system and method for managing maintenance, operation, and program implementation requirements for specialized equipment used by laypersons to provide assistance to individuals until professional assistance can arrive. The computer system includes a database module for storing maintenance, operation, and program implementation requirement information and actual maintenance, operation, and program implementation information for various pieces of specialized equipment. The computer system also includes a maintenance module that is operable to compare the actual information with the required information to determine if the various pieces of specialized equipment are being properly maintained and operated, and if programs associated with the various pieces of specialized equipment are being properly implemented.

  • Publication number: 20030136085
Abstract: A connector is attached to one end of plastic wrapping film as it is deployed from a roll. A connector firmly holds one end of the plastic wrap material as it is bunched together. An operator, once having connected the plastic to the connector, then attaches the connector to a package to be wrapped. The plastic is then deployed (either manually or automatically) from the roll around the package.
