  • Patent number: 11925874
Abstract: A modular multi-system gaming console can be configurable for use in conjunction with expansion consoles (also referred to as expansion modules, expansion units, and/or element modules herein) as a gaming console emulator and/or for use as an audio/video converter (e.g., an up-converter), data recorder, or streaming device. Further, the modular multi-system gaming console can evoke the original gaming experience of a game played on original hardware. A modular multi-system gaming console can provide a consistent platform for display, content management, statistical storage and analysis (e.g., high scores, fastest speed runs, etc.), and live streaming and other services (including core services described herein) across a multitude of gaming console platforms. A modular multi-system gaming console can also provide a more authentic game experience via active cartridge reading.

  • Publication number: 20230292413
Abstract: Methods and systems for producing a change in a medium. A first method and system (1) place in a vicinity of the medium at least one upconverter including a gas for plasma ignition, with the upconverter being configured, upon exposure to initiation energy, to generate light for emission into the medium, and (2) apply the initiation energy from an energy source including the first wavelength ?1 to the medium, wherein the emitted light directly or indirectly produces the change in the medium. A second method and system (1) place in a vicinity of the medium an agent receptive to microwave radiation or radiofrequency radiation, and (2) apply as an initiation energy the microwave radiation or radiofrequency radiation by which the agent directly or indirectly generates emitted light in the infrared, visible, or ultraviolet range to produce at least one of physical and biological changes in the medium.

  • Patent number: 10686687
Abstract: A monitoring and messaging system for monitoring status of a plurality of assets. The system includes a data collection and normalization module configured to accept data originating from a plurality of sensors and to convert the data to normalized data for subsequent processing by the system. The system has an identification module configured to receive the normalized data and assign a subset of the normalized data generated by one or more specific sensors of the plurality of sensors to an asset selected from a plurality of assets. The system has an analysis module which includes a database of asset rules defining status states of the asset. The analysis module is programmed to receive and compare the subset of normalized data with a subset of asset rules to determine a status state of the asset. The system also has an action module which is configured to receive the status state of the asset, generate a message representing the status state of the asset and to transmit the message to a concerned party.
