  • Patent number: 7576480
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrical incandescent lamp (1), in particular a halogen incandescent lamp, in which luminous element limbs (14, 16) extend in lamp vessel structural parts (42, 44), the lamp vessel structural parts surrounding the luminous element limbs in sections at a distance, and the axes of the lamp vessel structural parts (42, 44) extending at a distance from one another in order to increase the energy efficiency of the incandescent lamp, in particular if a layer (42a, 44a) which reflects IR radiation is applied to the lamp vessel structural parts. When using the pinch-sealing technology, it is possible to achieve a small system voltage halogen lamp having a long life expectancy and at the same time requiring little energy for reaching the operating temperature.

  • Patent number: 7548025
Abstract: The invention proposes a lamp (1), in particular a halogen incandescent lamp for system voltage, having a luminous element (8), which is retained by pinches (10a, 10b) which are in the form of funnel-shaped turned-in sections in the end face (3) of the lamp vessel (2), the pinches (10a, 10b) being oriented essentially axially with respect to the longitudinal axis of the lamp (1).

  • Patent number: 7511410
Abstract: The subject matter of the disclosure is a PAR lamp arrangement having an integral lamp, in particular an integral halogen lamp, which is inserted into a base and is surrounded at least in sections by a reflector, the base and the integral lamp being connected via contact springs, and the reflector being covered by a diffusing screen. According to the invention, the reflector is made from aluminum and is provided with a reflective surface or coating. Owing to the aluminum reflector used and the fact that the integral lamp is held via contact springs, improved holding of the integral lamp is made possible with reduced weight and production complexity.

  • Publication number: 20090079317
Abstract: The invention relates to a lamp (1), particularly a mains-operated halogen lamp, comprising a luminous element (8) that is fixed at least at one mounting point by means of exactly one funnel-shaped recess, i.e. a knob (10a-10d), which is formed from the lamp vessel (2). Each knob (10a-10d) extends substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (L) of the lamp (1).

  • Publication number: 20090033219
Abstract: The invention relates to an electric lamp (1) with a base at one end and with an outer bulb (3), mounted in a base (2), and at least one integral lamp (4), preferably a high-voltage halogen lamp, which is arranged within the outer bulb (3), and at least two power supply wires (6) from the base (2) to the integral lamp (4), the integral lamp (4) being held on the power supply wires (6). At least one of the power supply wires (6) has, in the region of the end (12) on the integral-lamp side, at least one u-shaped bend (11) for accommodating a base (8) of the integral lamp (4).

  • Publication number: 20090033198
Abstract: The invention relates to an electric lamp (1) with a base at one end and with an outer bulb (3), mounted in a base (2), and at least one integral lamp (4), preferably a high-volt halogen lamp, which is arranged within the outer bulb (3), and at least two power supply wires (9, 9a, 9b) from the base (2) to the integral lamp (4). The invention likewise relates to a method for producing such a lamp. The at least two power supply wires (9, 9a, 9b) are surrounded by a preferably cylindrical bulb (6) made from nonconductive material, and the cylindrical bulb (6) is connected, preferably fused, to the outer bulb (3).

  • Patent number: 7397192
Abstract: Disclosed is a halogen incandescent lamp having a lamp vessel, which is sealed at one end and in which at least one luminous element is accommodated, a vessel section 42 being in the form of a side reflector which extends only over a subregion of the lamp vessel circumference. A light-exit window 40 adjoins this vessel section 42 in the circumferential direction. According to the invention, the light-exit window 40 is comparatively slightly curved in cross section, the vessel section 42 forming the side reflector bulging out away from the light-exit window 40. This bulged-out region is preferably provided with a kidney-shaped constriction 46.

  • Publication number: 20070102455
Abstract: A dispenser for a liquid is provided which is particularly, though not exclusively, useful for dispensing liquid medical compositions such as nasal sprays. The dispenser employs at least one, though preferably two, semi-rigid casing halves, defining a liquid reservoir, within which is mounted a bridge member which performs the functions of dip tube, dose metering pump, and outlet orifice. An air inlet may be provided into the reservoir, to allow air to enter as liquid leaves, in which case it may be provided with a liquid-impermeable, and preferably bacteria-impermeable, cover. Other constructions are described in which no such cover need be provided, or in which the need for an air inlet can be avoided altogether.
