    Abstract: An efficient method and system is provided for computing lithographic images that takes into account vector effects such as lens birefringence, resist stack effects and tailored source polarizations, and may also include blur effects of the mask and the resist. These effects are included by forming a generalized bilinear kernel, which is independent of the mask transmission function, which can then be treated using a decomposition to allow rapid computation of an image that includes such non-scalar effects. Dominant eigenfunctions of the generalized bilinear kernel can be used to pre-compute convolutions with possible polygon sectors. A mask transmission function can then be decomposed into polygon sectors, and weighted pre-images may be formed from a coherent sum of the pre-computed convolutions for the appropriate mask polygon sectors. The image at a point may be formed from the incoherent sum of the weighted pre-images over all of the dominant eigenfunctions of the generalized bilinear kernel.

    Abstract: A method for simulating aerial images is provided where the integrand of a transmission cross-coefficient (TCC) integral is formed from defocused paraxial pupil transfer functions, and contour integration is performed over the boundary of the intersection of the offset pupil functions and the source function. Preferably, the paraxial pupil functions are approximated by a second order Taylor series expansion. The integrand is preferably parameterized in terms of the angles subtending the arcs of the boundary of the integration region, and the integrand is further approximated by an expansion of analytically integrable terms having an error term that substantially monotically decreases as the number of expansion terms increases. Additional factors such as aberrations and amplitude variations can be included by using functions that are simply multipied with the defocused paraxial pupil functions in the integrand.

    Abstract: A saddle cloth for equestrian use to be applied to a horse prior to application of the saddle has zones adapted to lie beneath the saddle panels at respective sides of the horse. Each zone includes within a pocket, a separate air bag at least in a forward and a rearward part of the zone such that each air bag serves to apply a relatively even pressure to the back of the horse. Each air bag is substantially flat and is filled within its interior with a resiliently compressible open cell foam and air sealed within the bag is substantially at atmospheric pressure.

    Abstract: An interchangeable chipper tool attachment for a hog allows a hog machine to operate as either a hog or a chipper. An operator of the hog machine can remove hammer tools used in the hog and replace them with the chipper attachment. The chipper attachment includes knife receiving area, a knife support receiving area, and a fastener portion for mounting the tool holder to rotor disks on the rotor assembly of the hog machine. A knife assembly, including a chipper knife, is coupled to the tool holder at the knife receiving area and points in the direction of rotation of the rotor. A knife support block supports the chipper knife and is coupled to the tool holder at the knife support receiving area, a lateral face of the tool holder adjacent to the knife receiving area. When mounted in an interleaved fashion between the rotor disks of the rotor assembly, the chipper knife rotates in a circular path and produces chips by cutting wood waste against an anvil on the hog.
