  • Patent number: 8419473
Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulating housing defining a plurality of terminal grooves each extending along a front-to-rear direction. A plurality of terminals includes a plurality of flat terminals made by stamping and bending metal strips and a plurality of spring terminals made by die-cutting upright metal boards of long rectangular shape. Each spring terminal is inserted forward and uprightly positioned in the corresponding terminal groove of the insulating housing without being pressed and bent. The flat terminals are molded in the insulating housing with front ends thereof acted as contacting ends and exposed outside. A lid is mounted to a back of the insulating housing for positioning a rear of the spring terminal. A latch is inserted forward in the insulating housing. A shielding shell is mounted to the insulating housing and electrically connects with the latch.

  • Patent number: 8337248
Abstract: A connector assembly includes a printed circuit board defining an inserting window and soldering holes adjacent to two sides of the inserting window, and an electrical connector assembled in the inserting window. The electrical connector includes an insulating body, terminals disposed in the insulating body and each having a soldering arm levelly extending rearward to stretch behind the insulating body, and a shell enclosing the insulating body and the terminals. Each side board of the shell has a substantial middle punched outward to form a soldering board extending levelly, and a lower part of a rear edge punched outward and then bent downward to form a soldering tail inserted downward in the soldering hole of the printed circuit board. The soldering boards of the shell and the soldering arms of the terminals are flush with one another to be levelly against and further soldered onto the printed circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20120322288
Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulating body and a plurality of terminals assembled in the insulating body. The terminal has a fastening strip of which a bottom end is bent towards one side of the fastening strip and then protrudes rearward to form a soldering portion. A top end of the fastening strip is bent towards the other side of the fastening strip and then extends forward to form a first contact portion which has a front end thereof arched upward to project out of the insulating body for electrically connecting with one circuit. A second contact portion is formed at a substantial middle of a front edge of the fastening strip and further exposed outside the insulating body for electrically connecting with another circuit.

  • Patent number: 8281484
Abstract: A pick-up jig is adapted to be dismountably mounted to an electronic component which has two buckling blocks. The pick-up jig includes a pick-up board and two buckling arms. The pick-up board is against a top of the electronic component. The pick-up board has a flat top surface for the convenience of the pick-up jig being picked up by a SMT machine. The two buckling arms perpendicularly extend downward from two opposite ends of a bottom surface of the pick-up board. An inside of each of the buckling arms protrude inward to form two blocking pillars spaced from each other to define a fastening groove therebetween. A buckling hook is protruded at a bottom of the buckling arm. The buckling blocks slide over the corresponding buckling hooks to be buckled in the corresponding fastening grooves and the buckling hook grappling a bottom of the corresponding buckling block.
