    Abstract: A holder for holding a surface contact card (40) includes a main body (10), a latch (20), a fixing portion (18) and an elastic element (30). The main body defines a receiving groove (16) and a sliding groove (17). The receiving groove is located at one side of the main body. The sliding groove is configured for receiving the surface contact card therein. The latch engages the receiving groove and selectably encloses one end of the surface contact card. The fixing portion is provided on the opposite side of the main body adjacent to the sliding groove. The elastic element sets in the fixing portion and configures for resisting the other end of the surface contact card. The elastic element provides a force allowing removal of the surface contact card.

    Abstract: A portable electronic device (100) includes a base cover (12), a latching assembly (13) including a knob (14) and a spring (16), and a removable panel (18). The knob includes a sliding slit (1462a) and a latching projection (1452). The panel includes a latching hole (185) and a resisting protrusion (1852). The knob is engagable in the latching hole. The knob is attached on the base cover and can be rotated. One end of the spring biases the knob, and another end of the spring protrudes out of the sliding slit and biases the base cover. When the panel is attached on the base cover, the resisting protrusion and the latching projection interfere with each other to drive the knob to rotate in a first direction, the spring rebounds and drives the knob to rotate in an opposite second direction, and the resisting protrusion is secured below the latching projection.

The can includes an acceptor (132) defining an axial slot (132b) in a peripheral wall thereof, and a protrusion (131) having a stepped hole. The slider has an adjoining block (141) received in the stepped hole. One end of the torsion-bar spring is secured onto the fastener, and the other end of the torsion-bar spring is received in the slot. A user presses the key to slidably remove the slider from the stepped hole of the can, whereupon the torsion-bar spring can rotationally drive the slider and the fastener, with the outer housing turning in unison therewith. Thus the cover is opened.
