Patent number: 11983320Abstract: An example wearable device that includes a conductive deformable fabric is described herein. The conductive deformable fabric has a conductive trace that has a non-extendable fixed length along a first axis, and the conductive trace is sewn into a fabric structure to produce a conductive deformable material. The fabric structure includes a stitch pattern that facilitates the conductive trace to unfold and fold in an oscillating fashion to allow the conductive trace to expand and contract, respectively, along the first axis without exceeding the fixed length of the conductive trace. The conductive deformable material is positioned within the wearable device such that when the wearable device is worn, the stitch pattern is over a joint of the user to allow the stitch pattern to expand or contract along with the movement of the joint.Type: GrantFiled: February 24, 2023Date of Patent: May 14, 2024Assignee: META PLATFORMS TECHNOLOGIES, LLCInventors: Simge Uzun, Mary Ellen Margaret Berglund, Stuart Wayne Dealey, Simon John Baines, Amy Lynne Stoltzfus, Russell Liam Warila, Phelan Miller, Christopher Bradford Doughty, Leah Resneck, Katherine Cagen, Cameron Elliot Glasscock, Dylan Downey, Anjali Khemani

Patent number: 9671315Abstract: An apparatus comprises an outer shell, a gauge ring, and a spring. The gauge ring is configured to rotate to a first position as a nut passes through an opening of the outer shell and contacts a bottom surface of the gauge ring, the first position permitting the nut to pass through the gauge ring and into a socket by aligning one or more gauge ring lobe slits with one or more outer shell lobe slits and one or more deformable lobes of the nut. The spring is configured to rotate the gauge ring to the second position after the nut passes through the gauge ring and into the socket, the second position preventing the nut from exiting the socket by preventing alignment of the one or more gauge ring lobe slits with the one or more outer shell lobe slits.Type: GrantFiled: July 30, 2015Date of Patent: June 6, 2017Assignee: Lockheed Martin CorporationInventors: Jamie M. Publication number: 20080078652Abstract: An apparatus (10) loads partially-formed open-ended cartons (12) onto respective mandrels (14) of a turret (16) that indexes cartons through work stations. A conveyor (18) propels the partially formed cartons (12) along a load path (20) and loads them onto respective mandrels (14). A loader guide guides the partially formed cartons (12) along the load path (20) and maintains them in axial alignment with the respective mandrels (14). A loading pusher (24) carried by the conveyor (18) engages successive partially formed cartons and propels them along the loader guide and onto the mandrels (14). A controller (30) commands a loading servo motor (28) to advance the conveyor (18) and transport each partially formed carton (12) along the load path (20) and into a delivered position on one of the mandrels (14) and then to reverse the conveyor (18) momentarily before the turret (16) indexes.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 14, 2005Publication date: April 3, 2008Inventors: David Arnett, Russell Miller, Kenneth Poublon, Eric Sanders
