  • Publication number: 20230285156
Abstract: An implantable device for sacroiliac (“SI”) joint fusion and an associated method employ an SI joint fusion portion and an anchor portion of smaller diameter than the SI joint fusion portion and that extends distally from a distal end of the SI joint fusion portion. The SI joint fusion portion is externally threaded and is configured to, when surgically implanted, extend across the SI joint. The anchor portion in turn extends distally from the SI joint fusion portion and is configured for implanting entirely within the patient’s ilium adjacent the SI joint. In certain configurations, the joint fusion portion is configured to enable fixation of spinal equipment at a proximal end of the joint fusion portion.

  • Publication number: 20230267207
Abstract: Data is received that comprises or characterizes an executable and dynamic linked library (DLL). Features are then extracted from the executable and DLL. The extracted features are input into at least one machine learning model to generate a suspiciousness score. The machine learning model can be trained to determine whether the executable file comprises ransomware. An execution chain of trust score for the executable and DLL can later be determined based on the extracted features and the suspiciousness score. This execution chain of trust score for the executable and DLL characterizes one or more associated parent processes. This suspiciousness score and the execution chain of trust score can be used to determine whether or not to initiate one or more ransomware countermeasures. Related apparatus, systems, techniques and articles are also described.

  • Publication number: 20230267197
Abstract: Execution of an executable is initiated in an operating environment. Thereafter, characteristics associated with the execution of the executable are continually monitored. It is later determined that the executable has one or more characteristics associated with ransomware. In response to such determination, at least one simulacra is injected into the operating environment to attempt to trigger an anti-detonation protection feature by the executable file. Thereafter, one or more ransomware countermeasures can be initiated based on behavior of the executable after injection of the at least one simulacra. Related apparatus, systems, techniques and articles are also described.

  • Patent number: 11698623
Abstract: The subject technology is related to methods and apparatus for discretization and manufacturability analysis of computer assisted design models. In one embodiment, the subject technology implements a computer-based method for the reception of an electronic file with a digital model representative of a physical object. The computer-based method determines geometric and physical attributes from a discretized version of the digital model, a cloud point version of the digital model, and symbolic functions generated through evolutionary algorithms. A set of predictive machine learning models is utilized to infer predictions related to the manufacture process of the physical object.

  • Publication number: 20230175741
Abstract: Closed-loop geothermal systems operate by extracting heat from the reservoir and transporting it to the surface. To maintain high enough temperatures at the surface it is necessary to have significantly higher relative reservoir temperatures. While the thermal energy of the sub surface is abundant, reservoir rock is a natural insulator with a thermal conductivity of less than 20 BTU*in2/ft*hr*F. This low thermal conductivity prevents rapid regeneration of the reservoir temperature around the wellbore reducing the relative temperature below what is needed for electrical production. The Thermal Soak method uses time and multiple closed-loop wells to overcome the low thermal conductivity allowing for continuous production of heated fluid at surface.
