  • Patent number: 4699024
Abstract: An angular position adjusting device including a planetary gear mechanism intervening between a fixed member and a movable member rotatably arranged relative to the fixed member in such a way that the relative gear engagement position between an inner gear and an outer gear of said planetary gear mechanism is changeable when any one of the inner gear and outer gear is eccentrically rotated by an eccentrically rotatable member. The planetary gear mechanism is in engagement with one of the fixed member and the movable member and a torque limiting coupling means intervenes between the planetary gear mechanism and the other of the fixed member and the movable member. A motor for rotating the eccentrically rotatable member may be mounted on any one of the movable and fixed members. With a compact size a high gear reduction ratio and a high shock damping are realized.

  • Patent number: 4665651
Abstract: A window regulator mechanism using a wire for opening and closing an automobile window has a driving portion including a drum to which a handle shaft is mounted, two brackets, two pulleys pivotally mounted to the brackets, the wire being wound on the drum and trained around the pulleys to form a closed loop, two elastic tubes mounted between each bracket and the driving portion for guiding the wire and for always elastically connecting the brackets to the driving portion, and an auxiliary elastic member mounted between the driving portion and the portion of the wire which lies between the pulleys. The drum and the pulleys are disposed in a triangular form. The auxiliary member gives a tension to the wire to prevent the wire from disengaging from the pulleys when the mechanism is mounted to the panel.

  • Patent number: 4644695
Abstract: A door window regulator for vertically moving a door window glass of a vehicle includes a wire which is stretched between upper and lower pulleys respectively disposed at the upper and lower portions of a door such that the wire forms a closed loop. A wire hook is secured to a portion of the wire between the upper and lower pulleys and further secured to a wire mounting bracket which is secured to the window glass. The wire mounting bracket has a box-like portion into which the wire hook is inserted. The wire hook is prevented from coming off by a bent portion which projects from a portion of the wire mounting bracket. A synthetic resin is applied to the respective contact surfaces of the wire hook and the wire mounting bracket for the purpose of cushioning.

  • Patent number: 4608778
Abstract: A door window regulator for vertically moving a door window glass of a vehicle includes a guide member and a slider which is secured to the door window glass and guided by the guide member. A wire is stretched between upper and lower pulleys respectively disposed at the upper and lower portions of the guide member and is connected at its intermediate portion to the door window glass. Thus, the door window glass is vertically moved by the driving force derived from a wire driving unit. A wire guide shoe projects from the guide member such as to contact the portion of the wire between the upper and lower pulleys, whereby the wire is bent between the upper and lower pulleys to thereby reduce the space occupied by this door window regulator.

  • Patent number: 4607456
Abstract: A door window regulator for vertically moving a door window glass of a vehicle includes a guide member which guides the vertical movement of the door window glass. A wire is stretched between pulleys respectively provided at the upper and lower portions of the guide member and is connected to the lower portion of the window glass, whereby the window glass is vertically moved by the driving force transmitted from a driving unit. The axis of either one of the pulleys extends in the direction substantially orthogonal to the plane which includes the portion of the wire which extends from that pulley to the driving unit and is directed toward the inside of the compartment of the vehicle, whereby the condition in which the wire is passed over the pulley is maintained in an appropriate state at all times.

  • Patent number: 4596608
Abstract: A method for manufacturing steel sheet for easy open end cans superior in openability comprising an improvement in the conventional process which includes the steps of hot rolling, first cold rolling, annealing and second cold rolling. The improvement resides in the operation of the second cold rolling reduction according to the formula: 100-0.08.times.(C+1,000.times.P)-0.8.times.H>R>20 and 45>R. This formula expresses the relationship between hardness, carbon content and cleanliness after annealing, whereinR: second cold reduction (%)C: carbon content after annealing (ppm)P: cleanliness after annealing (d60.times.400 . . . %)H: hardness after annealing (Hr 30T).

  • Patent number: 4580822
Abstract: An internal door handle assembly for operating a locking mechanism. The handle is assembled into a casing so that projections on either the handle or the casing fit into grooves in the other. A torsion spring biases the handle to its closed position. A lever arm of the handle is secured by a pin to a rod that operates the locking mechanism. Once assembled, the rotational angle of the handle is limited by abutting the casing.

  • Patent number: 3931664
Abstract: The present invention is an improvement in a door hinge construction for use on automotive vehicles for preventing the door from closing when the vehicle is parked on a sloping surface or from wind forces which act to close the door. A torsion bar is mounted in the stationary portion of the hinge and has a straight end portion which biases against a pair of rollers mounted on the movable portion of the hinge attached to the door to apply a torque to the movable hinge portion to maintain the door in the open position, with this torque increasing with wider opening of the door. The use of the rollers present a sliding contact with the torsion bar, thus eliminating unpleasant clicking noises during door opening and closing operations.
