  • Publication number: 20130033072
Abstract: A space between the trailing edge of a front fender and the outer surface of a front pillar lower in the vehicle width direction is covered with a synthetic resin enclosure inserted from the wheel housing side. The upper end of a main body of the enclosure is provided with an upper extending portion extending toward the lower end of the front pillar upper, and a reinforcing rib is formed on the outer surface of the upper extending portion so as to make the reinforcing rib in contact with the inner surface of a projecting portion of the front fender. A pressure applied to the projecting portion of the front fender is transmitted to the front pillar lower via the reinforcing rib, and thus the surface stiffness of the projecting portion of the front fender can be improved without adding a particular reinforcing member.

  • Publication number: 20130026792
Abstract: A tongue of a finger hook of an openable area is opened outward about a resin hinge by pressing the tongue from the inner side of the inner fender. When the finger hook is pulled by the finger hooked therein, the openable area undergoes elastic deformation and can be opened from the fender panel. When the openable area is opened, a gap ? is formed between the fender panel and the openable area. In order to pull the finger hook, the finger is inserted into the finger hook from the resin hinge side to the slit portion side.

  • Publication number: 20120213110
Abstract: A communication channel selection device, method and computer program product select a wireless communication channel among a plurality of communication channels with partially overlapping bandwidths in a frequency range available for use by an access point. A channel detector detects a busy channel used by another access point different from the access point. A signal strength detector detects a received signal strength of a wireless radio wave output from the another access point in the busy channel detected by the channel detector. A channel selector checks for a presence of a non-interfering channel that does not interfere with the detected busy channel, and when the channel selector does not detect the presence of the non-interfering channel, the channel selector selects the communication channel to be used by the access point based on the received signal strength of the wireless radio wave output in the busy channel.

  • Publication number: 20120037801
Abstract: Provided are a pattern measuring apparatus and a computer program which determine whether a gap formed in a sample (201) is a core gap (211) or a spacer gap (212). The secondary electron profile of the sample (201) is acquired, the feature quantities of the secondary electron profile at the positions of edges (303, 305) are detected, and based on the detected feature quantities, whether each gap adjacent to each of the edges (303, 305) is the core gap (211) or the spacer gap (212) is determined. Furthermore, the waveform profile of the spacer (207) is previously stored, the secondary electron profile of the sample (201) is acquired, a matching degree of the secondary electron profile and the stored waveform profile at the position of each spacer (207) is detected, and based on the detected matching degree, whether the each gap adjacent to each spacer (207) is the core gap (211) or the spacer gap (212) is determined.

  • Publication number: 20120030466
Abstract: A relay device first uses latest authentication data to determine whether request-authentication data transmitted from a wireless communications device is valid. If the latest authentication data is used to determine that the request-authentication data is valid, the relay device carries out relayed communications with the wireless communications device. If the latest authentication data is used to determine that the request-authentication data is invalid, the relay device next uses a former authentication data to determine whether the request-authentication data is valid. If the former authentication data is used to determine that the request-authentication data is valid, the relay device provides the wireless communications device with the latest authentication data to update authentication data in the wireless communications device.

  • Patent number: 7941008
Abstract: According to the pattern search method of the present invention, detection of a detection image region relative to an observation image is performed by a pattern matching. An image whose size is substantially the same as that of the observation image is used as the detection image region. The detection image region is relatively displaced with reference to the observation image, thereby detecting a degree of similarity for a common region which is common to both of the region and the image. Displacement range of the detection image region is set in advance. If area of the common region is larger than a predetermined value, calculating the degree of similarity will be performed.

  • Patent number: 7826735
Abstract: An auto focus unit, comprising a pursuit block, a lens driver, a detection block, and a controller, is provided. The pursuit block pursues the movements of an optical image of the target-object. The auto focus unit brings an optical image of the target-object into focus on a light-receiving surface. The target-object is desired to be brought into focus. The lens driver causes a focus lens to move so that an optical image of a scanning-area is brought into focus. The detection block detects the light intensity of an area including the scanning area. The controller causes the pursuit block to suspend a pursuit of the target-object when the light intensity detected by the detection block is lower than a predetermined threshold value.

  • Patent number: 7773145
Abstract: An auto focus unit, comprising a pursuit block, a scanning area setting block, a change area setting block, a permission block, and a lens driver, is provided. The pursuit block pursues the movements of a target object. The scanning area setting block designates a part of an object-area as a scanning area at first timing. After first timing, the scanning area setting block is able to reset the scanning area to the now location where the targeted object has moved. The change area setting block defines an area of a predetermined range as a change area at the first timing. The permission block orders the scanning area setting block to reset the scanning area when the location where the targeted object moved is outside of the change area. The lens driver orders a focus lens to move so that an optical image of the scanning area is focused on.
