  • Patent number: 6879241
Abstract: A vehicle ready for a card key and a radio communication system for a vehicle which utilizes a card key wherein transmission and reception functions are incorporated in a card key to be loaded onto a vehicle, thereby allowing communication between vehicles. A card key loaded on a two-wheeled vehicle communicates with a first card key loaded in a first card key receiving slot of a four-wheeled vehicle. Further, a microphone, a speaker and a transmitter-receiver are provided on a helmet for a driver, and the card key communicates also with the transmitter-receiver on the helmet. Similarly, a card key loaded on a second two-wheeled vehicle communicates with a second card key loaded in second card key receiving slot of the four-wheeled vehicle and the transmitter-receiver of the helmet worn by the driver of the second two-wheeled vehicle.

  • Patent number: 6851500
Abstract: A method of loading a two-wheeled vehicle onto a vehicle, e.g., within a trunk space of the accommodating vehicle. The required trunk space can be minimized without relying upon folding of the two-wheeled vehicle. A seat post of the two-wheeled vehicle loaded onto and rearward of a rearmost seat of a four-wheeled vehicle is pulled up forward around a predetermined shaft of pivotal motion. A seat of the two-wheeled vehicle functions integrally as a backrest of a rear seat of the four-wheeled vehicle and a seat back of the two-wheeled vehicle integrally functions as a headrest of the seat of the four-wheeled vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20040207972
Abstract: In this laminated ceramic capacitor, a heat radiation conductor is provided on a top face of a rectangular parallelepiped laminated chip where a plurality of first conductor layers and a plurality of second conductor layers are arranged alternatively through each ceramic layer with facing each other. In addition, the heat radiation conductor is connected to the upper edge of each second conductor layer. Therefore, when heat is generated in each first conductor layer and each second conductor layer which play the role of internal electrodes, the heat of each second conductor layer is directly transferred from each second conductor layer to the heat radiation conductor, and is radiated outside from the heat radiation conductor.

  • Patent number: 6637806
Abstract: In a rear spoiler structure for a vehicle in which a rear spoiler is provided at a rear deck of the vehicle, the rear spoiler is part of a rear glass plate provided at the rear deck of the vehicle, and is comprised of a protrusion that protrudes toward an outward of the vehicle and extends widthwise. The rear spoiler is provided with a depression inside the vehicle, and the depression accommodates a brake lamp. The rear spoiler structure needs no reinforcement for preventing the rear spoiler from loosening and rattling, so as to achieve a simplified construction, facilitates an electric wiring task when the brake lamp such as a high-mounted stop lamp is incorporated, and needs no weathertight sealing structure.

  • Patent number: 6512545
Abstract: In a solid-state image pickup apparatus including a pixel section having a plurality of arrayed pixels and a scanning circuit for scanning the pixel section, the scanning circuit is constructed as having: a shift register section consisting of cascaded shift register units; a signal select section consisting of a plurality of signal select units arranged in a manner corresponding to the shift register units; and a scan control section for generating scan control signal for controlling the signal select unit. Outputs of the shift register units are selectively provided as scanning signal through the signal select units which are controlled by the scan control signal. Thereby, pixel signals corresponding to a full angle of view can be read out at a rapid frame rate even in the high-definition solid-state image pickup apparatus where the number of pixels is very large.

  • Publication number: 20030006786
Abstract: A conductor is disposed within an area where electric coupling and magnetic coupling take place between the conductor and a device-under-test (DUT) in at least a portion of frequency band width, and the value of composite currents that is outputted in a plurality of directions different from each other against the DUT, is measured. Based on the measured plurality of values of the composite currents, the first electric current due to electric coupling between the DUT and the conductor and the second electric current due to magnetic coupling between the DUT and the conductor are calculated. From these first and second electric current values, electric field intensity and magnetic field intensity are calculated.

  • Publication number: 20010051530
Abstract: An information processing device (10) includes first (12) and second (13) wireless communication units, and a communication monitoring and controlling unit (11). When the first communication unit is communicating with another information processing device (20), the monitoring and controlling unit monitors the communication state of the second communication unit and adjusts a transmission condition of a wireless transceiver of the first communication unit based on the monitored communication state of the second communication unit. When the second communication unit establishes or maintains a connection, the transmission power of the transceiver of the first communication unit is lowered, and when the transceiver of the second communication unit neither establishes nor maintains a connection, the transmission power of the first communication unit is at a higher level.
