  • Publication number: 20040201924
Abstract: A magnetic head apparatus including a magnetic head slider having an overall front half region area (S) and a step surface area (S1) and a positive-pressure generating surface area (S2) both in the front half region, such that the area ratio S1/S is about 0.180 to about 0.232 and the area ratio S1/S2 is about 0.30 to about 0.47. With this arrangement a difference in pitch angles of the magnetic head slider at the moment when it is just levitated and during levitation is large, and a variation of the pitch angle due to a pressure change is small, thereby preventing damage to a magnetic element within the magnetic head slider while achieving a stable levitation attitude of the magnetic head slider.

  • Patent number: 5695467
Abstract: A catheter having a catheter tube. The catheter tube is comprised of a base tube comprised of a hard plastic with a linear elastic modulus of at least 100 kg/mm.sup.2 and a surface tube of an anti-thrombogenic material covering the outer circumference of the base tube. Further, The present invention provides a catheter set which is used when inserting the catheter and the like into the blood vessel of a patient. The catheter set comprises a retaining sheath whose distal end is inserted into a blood vessel and which has a hemostatic valve at its proximal end, a catheter having a catheter tube, which is inserted from the proximal end of the retaining sheath and thereby inserted into the blood vessel, and a holding ring for affixing said retaining sheath to the outer circumference of said catheter tube at any position in the axial direction.

  • Patent number: 5083114
Abstract: A current transformer detects a ground fault current and outputs a secondary current signal to heat a filament disposed in an airtight flash lamp upon the occurrence of a ground fault. With heating of the filament, an ignition material is ignited in the lamp and causes weakening of the glass bulb of the lamp. A moving member pressing against the lamp shatters the weakened lamp and is displaced, thus releasing an indicator to project from a holder to a ground fault indicating position.
