Abstract: A method for removing substrate material from a part produced by a 3-D printer. The machine includes a housing having a working chamber defined therein. A spray header is disposed along at least a portion of the perimeter of the working chamber. A pump is configured and arranged to convey a fluid at varying pressures through the spray header. The fluid contacts the part and then flows to the bottom of the working chamber to a fluid outlet.

Abstract: Personal transportation aid that can be converted easily between a wheelchair and a walker. The device has handles that can be pushed forward to switch from wheelchair mode to walker mode. Pushing the handles forward causes the seat bottom of the wheelchair to flip up, opening a space where the user can stand to use the walker; the front wheels of the wheelchair are also pushed forward. Pulling the handles backwards returns the device to its wheelchair configuration, with the seat bottom flipped down and the front wheels moved backwards. Simple mechanical linkages may be used to flip the seat bottom up and down, and to push the front wheels forward and backwards; therefore the device does not require a power source or actuators.

Abstract: The techniques disclosed herein generally relate to providing insurance via an integrated investment and insurance account. An integrated account may have an owner, and may include an investment vehicle portion and an insurance policy portion. The investment vehicle portion may include or be associated with one or more investment vehicles via which the account owner may invest money and, based on the invested funds, the insurance policy portion may provide insurance for which the account owner is designated as the insured party. Premiums for the insurance policy portion may be borne by the operating expenses of the investment vehicle portion. Additionally, a payout or benefit amount of the insurance provided by such integrated accounts may be based on the value of accumulated assets under management of the investment vehicle portion at the time of the payout.

Abstract: A mouth cushion for a mask system includes a side wall, an undercushion extending away from the side wall, and a membrane provided to substantially surround the undercushion and adapted to form a continuous seal around an exterior of a patient's mouth in use. The side wall includes spaced-apart prong support structures that provide annular recesses adapted to support respective nasal prongs. Each prong support structure includes an alignment indicator to aid correct assembly of the respective nasal prong.

A brake system having a brake assembly in the wheels and squeeze brake handles on the cross bars so that the user can control the descent or hold position on the ascent.

Abstract: Systems and methods for presenting a sequence of medical images are provided herein. A use provides an input which indicates that additional frames are to be displayed. Frames from the sequence are displayed in succession, without skipping the display of any frames, based on a frame rate determined by an input provided by a user.

Abstract: A system and method for playing back video feeds includes determining from the video feeds a subset of currently available video feeds, determining a playback layout based on the number of currently available video feeds and playing back the subset of currently available video feeds within the playback layout. The system and method further includes determining at least one change in availability in a given video feed of the plurality of video feeds, updating the subset of currently available video feeds based on the at least one change, updating the playback layout based on the updated subset of currently available video feeds and playing back the updated subset of currently available video feeds within the updated playback layout.

Abstract: A geothermal heat pump system includes a main heat exchanger, a borehole that penetrates an aquifer, and a ground loop. The main heat exchanger is configured to exchange heat between a ground loop flow and a heat distribution system. The ground loop includes a first and second groundwater heat exchangers, an input pipe and an output pipe. The groundwater heat exchangers are respectively contained in first and second zones within the borehole and are exposed to a groundwater flow within the aquifer. The input pipe is configured to deliver the ground loop flow from the main heat exchanger to the groundwater heat exchangers. The output pipe is configured to deliver the ground loop flow from the groundwater heat exchangers to the main heat exchanger. Heat exchange occurs between the ground loop flow within the groundwater heat exchangers and the groundwater flow.

The display screen may be removably mounted onto a surface of an electronic device to provide the user with an additional display screen. The attachable display screen may utilize a dual sliding mechanism that allows for the display screen to slide out to different lengths relative to the screen of the electronic device. The attachable display screen may also utilize a torque hinge to pivotally couple the display screen to a frame that mounts onto the electronic device. The attachable display screen is rotatable about both the horizontal and vertical axes, which allows a user to tilt and adjust the angle of the display screen.
