  • Patent number: 11094644
Abstract: In examples, a method of manufacturing an integrated circuit comprises locating a photomask between a light source and a semiconductor wafer having a photoresist layer in a wafer scribe lane of the wafer, wherein the photomask comprises: a first mask scribe lane pattern; a second mask scribe lane pattern matching the first mask scribe lane pattern; and at least one circuit pattern of the integrated circuit located between the first and second mask scribe lane patterns. The method further includes illuminating the photomask to produce in the photoresist layer of the wafer scribe lane a first exposed portion corresponding to the second mask scribe lane pattern; locating the first mask scribe lane pattern between the light source and the first exposed portion; and illuminating the photomask, wherein the first mask scribe lane pattern substantially shields non-exposed portions of the photoresist layer of the wafer scribe lane from light exposure.

  • Publication number: 20210116438
Abstract: Separation of the cellular components of whole blood, or other biological fluid, from plasma or serum can be achieved for assay analysis. A device for facilitating separation can include, for example, a capillary tube that accurately draws target blood volume, a pad that chemically interacts with red-blood cells, such that the red blood cells become chemically and/or physically trapped within pad material, a mechanism for plasma recovery from the pad upon diffusion or active mixing, and a dropper tip that facilitates dispensing the mixture onto a test device. The treatment of the cellular components can be performed prior to contact with a buffer solution, so release of the cellular components into the buffer solution is reduced or prevented. Additional filtration can be provided to filter any remaining cellular components in the mixture.

  • Patent number: 10872149
Abstract: A computer program product, a computer-implemented method, and a computer system include a processor(s) that obtains side channel emanations from a device. The processor(s) analyzes the side channel emanations to identify distinct emanation patterns and timing characteristics, wherein the timing characteristics are associated with transitions between the distinct emanation patterns. The processor(s) generates a non-deterministic finite automaton (NFA) by correlating the distinct emanation patterns with states of the device, where the NFA captures states and state transitions of the device. The processor(s) identifies an anomaly in the device, based on deviation in emanations from the device.

  • Publication number: 20200366477
Abstract: An elliptic curve random number generator avoids escrow keys by choosing a point Q on the elliptic curve as verifiably random. An arbitrary string is chosen and a hash of that string computed. The hash is then converted to a field element of the desired field, the field element regarded as the x-coordinate of a point Q on the elliptic curve and the x-coordinate is tested for validity on the desired elliptic curve. If valid, the x-coordinate is decompressed to the point Q, wherein the choice of which is the two points is also derived from the hash value. Intentional use of escrow keys can provide for back up functionality. The relationship between P and Q is used as an escrow key and stored by for a security domain. The administrator logs the output of the generator to reconstruct the random number with the escrow key.
