    Abstract: Automatic dishwashing detergent compositions comprising a diacyl peroxide particle are disclosed. The diacyl peroxide particles preferably comprise diacyl peroxide and a stabilizing additive in which the diacyl peroxide does not dissolve. The stabilizing additive is selected from the group consisting of inorganic salts, transition metal chelants, antioxidants, binding agents, coating agents, and mixtures thereof. The compositions are effective in removing stains from plastics under various temperature and pH conditions.
