  • Patent number: 11273348
Abstract: The present disclosure concerns embodiments of a badge and golf club head having a badge therein that can dampen the impact sound made when a hitting surface (a.k.a., face) of the golf club head impacts a golf ball. In one embodiment, a golf club head includes: a face portion surrounded by a topline portion, a toe portion, a sole portion and a heel portion, the face portion having a front striking surface and a back surface; and a badge coupled to the back surface of the face portion, the badge including a planar main body portion and at least one structural member extending outwardly from the main body portion, wherein the at least one structural member includes a lower portion and an upper portion disposed between the topline portion and lower portion, and wherein the at least one structural member has a maximum height, above the main body portion, at the lower portion and a minimum height at the upper portion.

  • Publication number: 20220071756
Abstract: Implantable medical devices have zones of high in vivo stability that are adjacent to zones of relatively low in vivo stability, so that when these medical devices are implanted into a host, the zones of low in vivo stability degrade first and allow the formation of independent segments of relatively intact high in vivo stability bands that are sufficiently small that they may pass from the host in a non-harmful manner.

  • Publication number: 20220072390
Abstract: An iron-type golf club head is provided with a body having a volume less than 120 cc. The body can include a sole portion with two or more slots extending upwardly into the body through the sole portion into a cavity behind a face portion. A damper can be included in the cavity and in contact with a rear surface of the face portion. The club head can have a maximum CT proximate to the ideal striking location and a CT dropoff of no more than 110 ?s at a point located between a first and second scoreline proximate to the sole portion. The club head can also have a CG along the y-axis (CG-y) between 0.25 mm and 20 mm and a CG along a positive z-up axis (CG-z) between 12 mm and 25 mm.

  • Patent number: 11260928
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to bicycles. In particular, the present disclosure provides systems and devices for converting a standard bicycle into a cargo bicycle using various detachable components. The ability to convert a standard bicycle into a cargo bicycle and back again confers many advantages, including eliminating the need for a separate bicycle for transporting cargo and encouraging the use of bicycles as a mode of transportation.

Abstract: Frac pumps have a fluid end and a fluid end block. The fluid end block has a plunger cylinder having a primary axis, a suction bore having a primary axis, a discharge bore, and a pump chamber. The pump chamber is defined by the intersection of the plunger cylinder, the suction bore, and the discharge bore. The fluid end block has a cylindrical portion extending along the primary axis of the suction bore. The cylindrical portion has a diameter greater than the diameter of the plunger cylinder. The pump chamber also has a ridge that extends radially inward from the walls of the pump chamber in a plane normal to the suction bore primary axis.

  • Patent number: 11193349
Abstract: Dual path control fittings have a fitting body and a cylindrical plunger. The fitting body has a cylindrical bore, a first conduit, and a second conduit. The cylindrical bore provides a first inlet and an opening. The first conduit provides a second inlet. The second conduit provides an outlet. The cylindrical plunger is mounted for reciprocation in the bore and has a first conduit and a second conduit. The first conduit extends from one end of the plunger to a port on the circumference of the plunger. The second conduit extends transversely across the plunger. The plunger has a first position in which the port is aligned with the second fitting body conduit to provide a first path and a second position in which the plunger second conduit is aligned with the fitting body first and second conduits to provide a second path.

  • Patent number: 11185746
Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of iron-type golf club heads that comprise weight reducing features in the topline region of the club head that facilitate changing the Z-up location of the club head. In some exemplary embodiments, the body comprises a weight reducing feature in a topline weight reduction zone of the club head that extends over the entire face length from the par line to the toe portion ending at approximately the Z-up location of the iron type golf club head. The weight reducing feature results in a mass savings of about 2 g to about 20 g, and a Zup shift of about 0.5 mm to about 2.0 mm.

  • Publication number: 20210331045
Abstract: A shim or badge is affixed to a golf cub body to produce a cap-back iron, giving the appearance of a hollow-body iron. In this way, the golf club can be manufactured with the performance benefits of a game improvement iron, while providing the appearance of a blade, player's iron, and/or a hollow-body iron. For example, by using a lightweight and rigid shim or badge to close a cavity opening and extend into the toe portion in the golf club body, the golf club head can provide increased stiffness in the topline, while lowering CG. Various shim or badge arrangements and materials can be used, and a filler material and/or damper can be included within the cavity to improve sound and feel, while minimizing loss in COR.

  • Publication number: 20210178235
Abstract: A damper is provided within the cavity of a golf club head and spans substantially the full length of the striking face from heel-to-toe of the golf club head. One or more cutouts and/or other relief is provided in the damper to reduce the surface area of the damper that contacts the rear surface of the striking face. By reducing the surface area that the damper contacts the rear surface of the striking face, the full length damper improves the sound and feel of the golf club head at impact and only minimally reduces performance of the golf club head. For example, the one or more cutouts and/or other relief maintains face flexibility, characteristic time (CT) and coefficient of restitution (COR) of the striking face.
