  • Publication number: 20230276510
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for assisted connectivity techniques. For example, a UE may transmit, to an AN, a request to establish a RRC connection with a PN, and the AN may further transmit, to the PN, the request received from the UE to establish the RRC connection with the PN. After receiving the request, the PN may transmit, to the AN, one or more RRC connection parameters for the RRC connection with the UE, and the AN may further transmit, to the UE, the one or more connection parameters received from the PN for establishing the RRC connection with the PN. Based on the one or more parameters received from the AN, the UE may establish the RRC connection with the PN.

  • Publication number: 20230237914
Abstract: An ego vehicle determines an intended maneuver and identifies a first set of agents for coordinating the intended maneuver. The ego vehicle also determines a spatial distance for obtaining a level of communication reliability with the set of agents that is greater than a communication reliability threshold. The ego vehicle further applies the determined spatial distance to a sensor-sharing message. The ego vehicle also transmits the sensor-sharing message to a second set of agents within the determined range. The ego vehicle performs the intended maneuver.

  • Publication number: 20230232431
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine resource selection priority levels associated with available resources for sidelink signaling in an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band, the resources selection priority levels may be determined based on resource reservation information of the available resources, a time domain location of the available resources, or both. For example, a first resource of the available resources may be associated with a higher priority than a second resource of the available resources in resource selection. The UE may select one or more resources for the sidelink signaling from the available resources based on the resource selection priority levels associated with the available resources. The UE may transmit the sidelink signaling on the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band using the one or more selected resources.

  • Publication number: 20230224926
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device and a receiving device may communicate sidelink messages of a second radio access technology (RAT) using a sidelink resource pool signaled using a first RAT. For example, the receiving UE may receive a sidelink control channel associated with the first RAT (e.g., Long Term Evolution (LTE)), may determine a set of time and frequency resources indicated by the sidelink control channel, and then may monitor the set of time and frequency resources to receive a sidelink message associated with the second RAT (e.g., New Radio (NR)). In some implementations, the set of time and frequency resource may be indicated that they may be used for the second RAT via a field in the sidelink control channel or via an additional sidelink message associated with the second RAT transmitted with the sidelink control channel.

  • Publication number: 20230180041
Abstract: Methods, systems (100, 200), and devices (605, 705, 905) for wireless communications are described. For example, a method may include a receiving user equipment (UE) (115) identifying a measurement accuracy threshold associated with reporting a sensor measurement over a wireless communication link (125, 135) to the receiving UE (115). The receiving UE (115) may then transmit, to a measuring UE (115), a configuration indicating the measurement accuracy threshold for reporting to the receiving UE (115). The measuring UE (115) may make sensor measurements and identify measurement data that satisfies the measurement accuracy threshold based on the received configuration. The measuring UE (115) may then transmit, over the wireless communication link (125, 135), the subset of measurement data that satisfies the measurement accuracy threshold. The measuring UE (115) may refrain from transmitting a different subset of measurement data that does not satisfy the measurement accuracy threshold.
