    Abstract: The invention provides an image output device coupled to a first and second signal source and a method thereof. The image output device includes memories configured to store frame image data respectively, a source selection circuit coupled to the first and second signal sources and the memories and configured to choose to store a first frame image data transmitted by the first or second signal source in one of the memories according to a working state of the first signal source, and an image output circuit coupled to the memories and the source selection circuit and configured to output the first frame image data stored in one of the memories. The image output device may rapidly switch to a backup signal source when the signal source is unstable to achieve fast switching and perfect connection.

    Abstract: A digital-pointer interaction system is provided, which includes a display apparatus, a host, a wireless receiving device, and a plurality of wireless pointer devices. The host plays a display screen on the display apparatus, and executes a digital-pointer application. The digital-pointer application renders a plurality of pointer cursors on the display screen according to a number of wireless pointer devices connected to the wireless receiving device, and each wireless pointer device corresponds to each pointer cursor. Each wireless pointer device periodically emits an indication signal to the wireless receiving device, and the wireless receiving device transmits the indication signal to the host. The indication signal includes displacement information of each wireless pointer device. The digital-pointer application controls movement of each pointer cursor on the display screen according to the displacement information of each wireless pointer device.

The digital pre-distortion circuit receives an original digital signal having an original real part and an original imaginary part. When a first one and a second one of the original real part and the original imaginary part are a low state voltage level and a high state voltage level, the digital pre-distortion circuit outputs a first and a second voltage levels equivalent to the low state voltage level as a first pre-distortion part and directly outputs the second one of the original real part and the original imaginary part as a second pre-distortion part to generate an input signal having an input real part and an input imaginary part each corresponding to one of the first pre-distortion part and the second pre-distortion part.     Abstract: A LED lighting circuit has a plurality of LED segments connected in series. A switching arrangement is used to selectively bypass at least one LED segment to implement a tapped linear driver approach. Degrading of a component in the LED lighting circuit is detected, so that a first TLD current modulation scheme is implemented when no such degrading is detected whereas a second current modulation scheme, different from the first current modulation scheme, is implemented to compensate for said degrading. Said degrading is leading to an increase in a turning on voltage of one LED segment, and compared to said first current modulation scheme, said second current modulation scheme has a higher voltage threshold at which said LED segment is switched. In this way, protection may be provided for circuit components and the light output may be maintained at the desired level in the event of component degrading, such as LED chip failure or contact resistance changes.
