  • Patent number: 6503092
Abstract: The stopper portion that blocks the movement of the ejection member in the card ejection direction is disposed at the position which met in the width direction of card connector, and is in the position of the same side as the position with the elastic body 60 which urges the ejection member in the card ejection direction. This arrangement can hold the attitude of the ejection member straight relative to the connector, thus preventing troubles such as an inadvertent unlocking of the eject lock and an unstable contact between the contact pads of the card and the contact terminals of the connector.

  • Publication number: 20020177434
Abstract: A receiver and a receiving system capable of obtaining content related information corresponding to a retrieval key are provided. When a retrieval instruction is performed by a user, a retrieval key setting section sets the artist name of a musical piece provided by a program being received as a retrieval key. A related information retrieval section obtains program content data added to distribution information of another program, and retrieves content related information (for example, information such as the scheduled date of the sale of a new musical piece) corresponding to the retrieval key set by the retrieval key setting section. When the content related information corresponding to the retrieval key is extracted, a display processing section creates image data for displaying the extracted content related information and displays the image data on a display section.

  • Publication number: 20020137386
Abstract: The base plate 31 of the connector housing is provided with the raised portion 50 that fits into one of the recessed portions 26 in the card 20 for the contact pads 27 when the card 20 is inserted. The raised portion 50 is made to function as a stopper to block the card from being inserted further when the card is wrongly inserted back to front, thereby preventing a possible deformation of the contact terminals on the connector side in the event that the card is wrongly inserted.

  • Publication number: 20020119691
Abstract: A card connector for an IC card has a connector body, a card slot formed in the connector body, a cover for covering the card slot, and looking portions disposed in the connector body. The cover is pivotally supported at a first edge portion thereof by a pivotal pin which is supported by the connector body. The cover has a hook at a second edge portion opposite to the first edge portion. The cover can be moved with respect to the connector body along the pivotal pin. When the cover is moved along the pivotal pin in a closed state, the locking portion comes to engage with the hook of the cover, thereby restricting a pivotal movement of the cover for exposing the card slot or the card.

  • Patent number: 6346048
Abstract: There are provided a game system, game machine, game data distribution machine, image data distribution system and computer available information which can synchronize clock signals between a plurality of devices. A game data distribution machine (100) includes a machine clock generation section (180), a clock selection section (160) and a clock generation section (120). By using these sections, a reference clock is generated as a basis of synchronization. The game data distribution machine also includes a clock and data superposition section (170) which superposes the reference clock on a game data, the superposed game data being then distributed to game machines (200). Each of the game machines (200) includes a clock and data separation section (272) which extracts the reference clock from the superposed data and a clock generation section (220) which generates an operation clock for each of game execution means including a game data production section (290) and so on, based on the reference clock.

  • Publication number: 20010037569
Abstract: A method of connecting a terminal to a conductor comprises the steps of mating the terminal with the conductor through a thin stud of the terminal projecting from a base of the termina, giving ultrasonic vibration to the base of the terminal and the conductor to join the terminal and the conductor laminate at mating portion. The method further comprises the step of crushing a portion of the stud projecting above the conductor by giving a pressure without the ultrasonic vibration to the portion of the stud, thus to caulk the terminal to the conductor.

  • Publication number: 20010018558
Abstract: Imaging and image reconstruction are sequentially performed for slices of a subject, and realtime images of the slices are displayed substantially at the same time. The slices may be perpendicular or parallel to one another, or they may form a stereoscopic pair. The images may be displayed two-dimensionally, or they may be combined and displayed three-dimensionally. One of the slices includes an insertion (a needle) for puncture or biopsy that is inserted into the subject by an operator, and it is parallel with a direction in which the insertion should advance. If the needle is displaced from the slice and a shade of the needle disappears from the sequentially-displayed images of the slice while the operator moves the needle toward an affected part in the subject in IVR, the shade of the needle appears on the sequentially-displayed images of another slice that is perpendicularly intersecting to or is adjacent and parallel to the above-mentioned slice.
