  • Publication number: 20090179783
Abstract: A D/A converter of the current switching type has a first current mirror circuit that D/A converts the upper (n?m) digits in n bit data to be converted and a weighting current circuit block or a second current mirror circuit that D/A converts the lower m digits in the data, by cascade connecting the weighting current circuit block or the second current mirror circuit at the upstream or at the downstream side of an output side transistor other than the output side transistors of the first current mirror circuit. In this manner, current flowing through the output side transistor flows as diverting currents to the weighting current circuit block or the second current mirror circuit corresponding to the digit weights of the lower m digits, and the diverting currents are taken out at the outputs of the D/A conversion circuit as analog converted currents of the lower m digits.

  • Publication number: 20090145375
Abstract: A cooling system includes a first cooling system in which coolant is supplied from a radiator to a motor so as to cool the motor, and then the coolant is supplied to banks of an engine through a circulation passage and split flow passages so as to cool the engine; and a second cooling system in which the coolant delivered from the radiator through a branch passage is further cooled by a radiator, and the cooled coolant is supplied to a drive circuit so as to cool the drive circuit. With this configuration, it is possible to efficiently cool the motor, the engine, and the drive circuit whose suitable operating temperatures are different from each other, and to make the configuration of the cooling system simple.

  • Publication number: 20080272710
Abstract: An organic EL display device having an organic EL drive circuit has a reference current generation circuit that switches the column line drive in response to changing of the dot arrangement of R, G and B through changeover switch circuits. Three D/A converter blocks constituted by a plurality of switch circuits and a plurality of output side transistors of a current mirror circuit are provided to produce reference currents for R, G and B that are selectively switched by a first, a second and a third changeover switch circuit. As a result, the D/A converter blocks corresponding to the respective terminal pins dynamically produce drive currents for the respective terminal pins so as to correspond to the dot arrangement of R, G and B on the organic EL panel.

  • Patent number: 7446737
Abstract: The output current from respective output terminals of a drive circuit (driver IC) of an organic EL display panel to respective column pins or data lines is sequentially selected by sequentially scanning a plurality of switch circuits by a switch scan circuit. The resultant output currents are converted into voltage values by resistors selected by a selector. Further, the converted voltage values sequentially generated according to the scanning of the switch scan circuit are outputted externally of the IC.

  • Patent number: 7420529
Abstract: A transistor for detecting current generated by an output side transistor of a current mirror circuit of an organic EL panel drive circuit and a control circuit including a current driven input stage and an output stage for driving the input side transistor of the current mirror circuit are provided. The input stage of the control circuit receives the detected current and a certain reference current and the output stage of the control circuit generates a drive current, which corresponds to a difference between the detected current and the certain reference current and drives the input side transistor of the current mirror circuit. The control circuit controls the detected current in such a manner that it becomes equal to the reference current and the current distributed to terminal pins of an organic EL panel becomes the reference current or a current corresponding thereto.

  • Patent number: 7400097
Abstract: A driver IC (4) and a current driver circuit (40) are shared by a first organic EL panel (2) and a second organic EL panel (3). Therefore, not like conventional cases, the current driving circuit (40) on a side not selected is not necessarily in a standby state, and power consumption can be reduced. In a case where the first and second organic EL panels are passive matrix type, a first diode is provided between each column line of the first and the second organic EL panels and corresponding each terminal pin so as to prevent a reverse flow.

  • Publication number: 20070195022
Abstract: [Problem]To provide an organic EL display device which is suitable to minimize a size thereof and is capable of preventing erroneous light emission and reducing power consumption when a display is switched from one of a first and second organic EL display panels to the other. To provide an organic EL display device capable of preventing erroneous light emission with which display luminance in black level is pushed up to that in gray level. [Means for Solving the Problem]In the first invention, the current drive circuit having output pins common for the first and second organic EL panels is provided. Therefore, there is no need of providing current drive circuits for the respective first and second organic EL panels. Consequently, it is unnecessary to make the organic EL panel, which is not selected, standby state, so that it is possible to reduce power consumption correspondingly.

  • Publication number: 20070162682
Abstract: Reference number 21 indicates a CPU, reference number 22 indicates a memory controller, and reference number 23 indicates a parameter set register group that has access parameters shared and used by banks. In the parameter set register group 23, parameter sets S0 to Sn having elements P0 to Pn exist. Reference number 24 indicates an external memory group to be finally accessed. A parameter set selection register 27 selects a parameter set among the parameter sets S0 to Sn of the parameter set register group 23 so as to be corresponded to each bank. The parameter set selection register 27 stores a unique identifier for each of banks B0 to Bm, which select the parameter sets S0 to Sn.
