  • Publication number: 20020098744
Abstract: Upon coupling a shield connector 10 to a partner-side connector 50, the cam followers 37 of the shield connector 10 are made engage with the cam grooves of a lever 56 provided at the partner-side connector 50, and the lever 56 is rotated. Then, the shield shell 55 covering the outer surface of the tip end side of the terminal housing tube 52 moves into the fit-in portions 15 of an inner housing 12, so that the belt portions 19B of belt-shaped elastic pieces 19 are applied with a force directed to the inner side of an inner housing fit-in hole 34 due to the sliding-contact resistance between the belt-shaped elastic pieces and the shield shell 55. However, according to the embodiment, the sliding-contact resistance acts as a force of pulling the belt-shaped elastic pieces 19.

  • Patent number: 6331124
Abstract: A retainer 20 comprises a pair of half members 22U and 22L connected to each other by a hinge 21. When the retainer 20 is fitted to a housing 10 in a state where the half members 22U and 22L are combined, the retainer 20 retains rubber caps 16 from the rear so as to restrict the disengagement of the rubber caps 16. Restricting portions 24U, 25U, 24L and 25L are formed on abutment surfaces 23Ua, 23Ub, 23Uc, 23La, 23Lb and 23Lc of the half members 22U and 22L, respectively. When the half members 22U and 22L are combined, the restricting portions 24U, 25U, 24L and 25L are retained by the restricting portions on the mating half member, so that the relative displacement of the pair of half members 22U and 22L in directions along abutment surfaces 23Ua, 23Ub, 23Uc, 23La, 23Lb and 23Lc can be restricted.

  • Publication number: 20010047877
Abstract: An underlying member 40 provided in a shield connector is fixed to a shielded wire 20 by caulking a first barrel portion 41 thereof, and fixed to a small diametered portion 31 of a rubber plug 30 by caulking a second barrel portion 42 thereof. Because the rubber plug 30 is thus fixed to the underlying member 40, the rubber plug 30 is made immovable with respect to the shielded wire 20 and will not drop out from an electric wire insertion inlet 18. With this structure, the rubber plug holder required in the related-art structure is unnecessary. Thus, the number of the components can be reduced and the assembling workability is improved.

  • Patent number: 6140597
Abstract: A breaker device having tension coil springs that, while moving together with a moving electrode, are extended and contracted, and the resilient restoring force of these springs becomes maximum halfway along a path of movement thereof. When the moving electrode is disposed on the connection side of this maximum position, the tension coil springs urge the moving electrode in a connecting direction. When the moving electrode is disposed on the disconnection side, the tension coil springs urge the moving electrode in a disconnecting direction. When the moving electrode is in a properly-connected condition or a completely-disconnected condition, the urging force of the tension coil springs is decreased. A lock for holding the moving electrode in either the connected condition or the disconnected condition may also be provided.

  • Patent number: 6107572
Abstract: A terminal-processed structure of a shielded cable is so simple that the shielded cable becomes easy for use. In a shielded cable, core wires covered by a first insulating layer are sheathed by braided metallic wires on the outer periphery thereof and are further covered by a second insulating layer on the braided metallic wires. The braided metallic wires are exposed at one end of the shielded cable. A hard sleeve-like body is inserted beneath the exposed, braided metallic wires. A conductive sleeve-like body is crimped onto the exposed, braided metallic wires on the one end of the shielded cable. The conductive sleeve-like body crimped on the one end of the shielded cable is attached to a conductive casing by a conductive band or ring when the shielded cable is used. Thus, the braided metallic wires are electrically communicated with the casing.

  • Patent number: 5915544
Abstract: Fixed electrodes 40 and terminals 30 are mounted on a casing main body 21 of a breaker device 10 with bolts 50. Each terminal 30 is firmly fixed between the end surface of a spacer 52 fitted on the bolt 50 and a mount base 24 by a fastening force of the bolt 50, and each fixed electrode 40 is pressed against the terminal 30 by an elastic force of a spring washer 52 fitted around the spacer 51 and is mounted such that it can be inclined by deforming the spring washer 52 by a remaining deformation margin. Accordingly, when the fixed electrode 40 is pushed by the movable electrode 44, the inclinations of the fixed electrodes 40 are automatically adjusted to reduce a sliding resistance which acts between the movable electrode 44 and the fixed electrode 40, thereby facilitating the switching operation.
