  • Patent number: 4946551
Abstract: A plurality of thermoplastic sheets are laminated into a laminated assembly, which is then pressed into a laminated assembly. First, the sheets to be laminated in one cycle are heated while the sheets are arranged in a juxtaposed relationship in the order in which they are to be laminated. The heated sheets are penetrated with needles to detachably hold the sheets while keeping the sheets in the juxtaposed relationship. A support member which supports the laminated assembly is moved below the sheets held and relatively to the sheets in a direction in which the sheets are arranged in the juxtaposed relationship, the sheets are released from the needles onto the support member to stack the sheets thereon into the laminated assembly while the support member is being moved relatively to the sheets. The support is then delivered into a shaping die assembly.

  • Patent number: 4882002
Abstract: A process for manufacturing a composite panel capable of shock absorption comprising applying a bonding agent with an added cross-linking agent on a surface of a foam member to form a primer treatment surface thereon and applying to a surface of a laminating member the same or a similar bonding agent with added cross-linking agent. The treated surfaces of the foam member and laminating member are then placed into contact with one another and the two members are bonded together while heating the same and applying pressure thereto.

  • Patent number: 4412240
Abstract: A large scale semiconductor integrated circuit and its wiring method employing a grid system where the layout space is partitioned in the form of a grid by vertical and horizontal line group having an interval larger than a length corresponding to a minimum dimension for a patterning in a manufacturing process; wiring patterns for making connection between each cell which is a unit of layout are depicted on such vertical and horizontal lines; and wirings are made on the basis of the wiring patterns. An interval (d) of these vertical and horizontal lines of the grid is the greatest common factor of the minimum wiring pitches of several overlapped wiring layers and is selected to a dimension which is smaller than said wiring pitch; and the vertical and horizontal line patterns are depicted on the vertical and horizontal lines having the same interval.

  • Patent number: 4224376
Abstract: A process for manufacturing a heat-resistant composite sheet comprising applying a bonding agent with an added cross-linking agent on one of the facing surfaces to be adhered of a thermoplastic resin sheet and a polyolefin foam sheet. The two sheets are then placed one upon another through the bonding agent coated layer and are bonded together while heating the same and applying pressure thereto.

  • Patent number: 4134530
Abstract: A water intake portion of a hydraulic machine consists of a casing and a speed ring positioned between the casing and guide vanes for guiding water from the casing to the guide vanes. The speed ring consists of a pair of upper and lower flat members of a ring form, a plurality of stay vanes positioned between the aforesaid pair of members for interconnecting same rigidly, and a reinforcing member of a cylindrical form, which is welded to the top surface of the upper flat member between the inner and outer circumferential edges of the upper flat member. Edges defining therebetween an opening of this casing are welded to the top surface of the upper flat member of a ring form, of the speed ring in the position between the aforesaid reinforcing member and the outer circumferential edge of the upper flat member, as well as to the undersurface of the lower flat member of a ring form, respectively.

  • Patent number: 3947772
Abstract: An AFC tuning circuit is provided having a tuning capacitance in parallel with a series connection of a varactor and an inductance coil. A series-connected switch and capacitor are connected in parallel with the varactor. Another switch is connected in parallel with a portion of the inductance coil. Both switches are open for a lower frequency band and closed for a higher frequency band to provide a relatively uniform AFC circuit sensitivity for both frequency bands.

  • Patent number: 3940714
Abstract: An AFC circuit has a tuning circuit including a first variable capacitance element and a pair of series connected inductive elements. Switch means are connected between ground and a point between the inductive elements for alternatively operably connecting one or both of the inductive elements in parallel with the first variable capacitance element to switch the tuning circuit between a higher frequency range and a lower frequency range. The AFC portion of the circuit comprises a second variable capacitance element which is connected in parallel with the first variable capacitance element. In order to improve the sensitivity of this circuit, a means is provided for capacitively coupling the second variable capacitance element to a point between the inductive elements. As a result, substantially equal AFC ranges are obtained whether the circuit is tuned to the higher or the lower frequency range.
