Abstract: A height-adjustable frame comprises a first leg element with a first support section, a first foot section and a first adjustment arrangement and a second leg element with a second support section, a second foot section and a second adjustment arrangement. The first support section and the first foot section can be moved relative to each other by means of the first adjustment arrangement. The second support section and the second foot section can be moved relative to each other by means of the second adjustment arrangement. The first leg element can be pivoted about a first pivot axis and the second leg element can be pivoted about a second pivot axis. The frame also has a locking structure and a rotatable shaft arranged between the first leg element and the second leg element to synchronously drive the first adjustment arrangement and the second adjustment arrangement.

Abstract: A cable routing arrangement for routing cables in an orderly fashion on a height-adjustable furniture item comprises a rigid first routing element, a rigid second routing element, and a deformable connecting element. The first routing element has a first bearing arrangement, by means of which it can be pivotally connected to a top part of the furniture item. The second routing element has a second bearing arrangement, by means of which it can be pivotally connected to a base part of the furniture item. The first routing element and the second routing element can be interconnected via the connecting element in such a way that they are movable.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for forming an aluminium composite material which has a core alloy made from an aluminium alloy of type AA5xxx or AA6xxx and at least one outer aluminium alloy layer provided on one or both sides, wherein the aluminium composite material is formed and the outer aluminium alloy layer provided on one or both sides has a yield strength Rp0.2 of 25 MPa to 60 MPa in the soft or solution-annealed state. The method enables the production of large-surface, heavily formed aluminium alloy sheet metal parts, in particular also in outer skin quality.

Abstract: A user terminal may be configured to communicate with a gateway. The gateway may be configured to communicate with sensor equipment including one or more sensors and watering equipment via a first network. The gateway may also be configured to communicate with the user terminal via a second network. The user terminal may include processing circuitry that is configured to provide a remote interface for communication with the sensor equipment and the watering equipment via the gateway.

Abstract: A system may include sensor equipment including one or more sensors disposed on a parcel of land, watering equipment disposed on the parcel and configured to selectively apply water to the parcel, and a gateway configured to provide for communication with the sensor equipment and the watering equipment. The gateway may interface between a first network and a second network. The first network may include at least the watering equipment and the sensor equipment. An operator may be enabled to wirelessly communicate with the gateway via the second network. At least one component of the watering equipment or the sensor equipment may be an adaptive component.

Abstract: A connecting apparatus for creating a connection to a measuring instrument or to a valve block/valve with a measuring instrument, and a connection to a pipeline or to a metering orifice device installed in a pipeline comprises: a first connecting device that provides a sealing connection to the pipeline or to the metering orifice device with a first recess extending through in the longitudinal direction, and a second connecting device that provides a sealing connection to the measuring instrument or to the valve block/valve with a second recess extending through in the longitudinal direction. The first and second connecting devices are interconnected with sealing effect. The connecting unit is designed so that the sealing connection can be created solely by rotation of the connecting unit without rotating the first and second connecting devices.

Abstract: In a table having a height-adjustable table top and supporting structures, the table top is secured on the supporting structures so that the supporting structures support the table top. The supporting structures are placeable on a floor. The table includes at least one band which connects the supporting structures and the table top to each other, so that the table top is supported by the supporting structures in that it hangs at the supporting structures with the aid of the band. The table according to the invention permits a simple, convenient, quick and precise adjustment of the height of the table top according to the needs of the respective user of the table.

Abstract: Embodiments relate to a device for performing a bending test having a base plate, counter bearings connected via the base plate, bearing blocks which in each case comprise a support for applying a bending sample, and a bending punch or a bending rail for exerting a force on a bending sample. The distance of the supports can be set precisely and in a force resistant manner by abutting the counter bearings and the bearing blocks against each other via contact surfaces inclined to the base plate. Further provided is a method for performing a bending test using a device according to the invention, in the case of which a bending sample is applied on the supports and in the case of which a force is exerted between the supports on the bending sample.

In a first method step, the sensor signal is compared to the level of a signal of the low pass filter by means of the signal comparator, and the result is compared to a predetermined threshold value.

A pressure regulating device using which the fuel may be extracted from the fuel pressure accumulator is precontrolled using a precontrol signal, which is ascertained taking into account a setpoint pressure in the fuel pressure accumulator. A value for a fuel quantity flowing through the pressure regulating device is taken into account when ascertaining the precontrol signal.

Abstract: A redundantly operated industrial communication system includes communication devices that are redundantly linked to an industrial communication network and includes network infrastructure devices associated with the industrial communication network, wherein message transmission occurs wirelessly at least in sections. The industrial communication network contains a plurality of buffer memory units for message elements that are received at a network node by wire and message elements that are to be sent by the network node wirelessly. When a maximum buffer size is exceeded, an oldest message element situated in a respective buffer memory unit is erased. Until the maximum buffer size is exceeded, the oldest message element is selected as the next message element to be sent wirelessly.
