  • Patent number: 7255298
Abstract: In a magazine, when a lid is opened for loading a recording material, a discrimination pin is unlocked and shifted from a first position to a second position. When a magazine is set to a printer processor, a positioning pin presses the discrimination pin to shift to the first position, at which the discrimination pin is locked. After removal of the magazine from the printer processor, the discrimination pin is in the first position. When the lid is opened to load fresh recording material in the magazine, the discrimination pin is in the second position. It is discriminated by detecting the position of the discrimination pin whether the magazine is a partially used one. When the partially used magazine is set to the printer processor, a forward edge of the recording material is not cut.

  • Publication number: 20070139333
Abstract: The focal distance can be greatly changed by performing an electrical control in an optical element. The optical element comprises a first substrate having a first electrode, a second substrate, a second electrode arranged outside the second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer provided between the first substrate and the second substrate and constituted by liquid crystal molecules oriented. A first voltage is applied between the first electrode and the second electrode, thereby controlling the orientation of the liquid crystal molecules, whereby the optical element operates. A third electrode is provided on an insulating layer and outside the second electrode. A second voltage independent of the first voltage is applied to the third electrode, thereby changing the optical properties.

  • Patent number: 7223636
Abstract: In a dividing method according to the present invention, a wiring board formed of ceramic is forced up (upper swing) by a lower clamp claw of a clamper, and some of a protruded wiring board portion protruding from a conveying chute is pressed against a support body to perform a first division under bending stress. Thereafter, the upward-located clamper is rotatably swung (lower swing) downward to allow an upper clamp claw to press down the protruded wiring board portion, thereby performing a reverse division at the first division section again as a second division. Since the second division allows a tensile force to act on a remaining and thin non-divided resin portion, the non-divided resin portion is torn off. Thus, the perfect division is enabled. Fractionalizing is done by a one-row division and an individual division so that each semiconductor device is formed.

  • Patent number: 7157738
Abstract: The present invention relates to a capacitor element and its manufacturing method. The invention presents a capacitor element comprising a lower electrode, a dielectric film, and an upper electrode, and its manufacturing method, in which the surface of at least one layer of the lower electrode in a single layer structure or laminated structure, for example, the surface of the lower electrode contacting with the dielectric film, is flattened by processing the material itself which composes this surface. For example, it is flattened by filling the recesses at the crystal grain boundary of the surface with the material itself shaved from the surface. As a result, undulations of the surface of the lower electrode of the capacitor element are lessened, and the film thickness of the dielectric film is made uniform, and capacity drop and increase of leak current can be prevented.
