  • Publication number: 20030056528
Abstract: An air conditioning unit and an air blowing unit are connected via an intermediate duct. The air conditioning unit includes an air mix damper and a discharge direction switching damper for switching the discharge direction of conditioned air, each driven by a corresponding actuator via a link mechanism associated therewith. The link mechanism and actuator are mounted on a left wall part of a casing of the air conditioning unit. On the other hand, the air blowing unit is provided with an actuator for driving an indoor air/outside air switching damper, and the actuator is mounted to a side of a casing of the air blowing unit facing the air conditioning unit. Thus, the resulting air conditioner is reduced in size to reduce its installation space.

  • Patent number: 6504543
Abstract: A polygon drawing apparatus for drawing a polygon which is colored inside its outline by using outline data indicating the outline of the polygon, the apparatus comprising: an outline data generation unit for generating outline data indicating the outline of the polygon on the basis of coordinate data indicating the coordinates of points constituting the polygon; a mask data generation unit for performing, for a predetermined amount of the outline data, parallel exclusive-OR processes in units of amounts constituting the predetermined amount, thereby generating mask data which specifies “coloring” for the inside of the outline; and a segment generation unit for drawing the polygon by using the mask data generated by the mask data generation means. Therefore, this polygon drawing apparatus can provide a satisfactory result of display without using a bulk memory, and without increasing the processing load.

  • Publication number: 20020182610
Abstract: A liquid discharging device includes a plurality of liquid discharge sections. Each liquid discharge section includes a reservoir, a nozzle that discharges a solution supplied from the reservoir, and discharge energy generating means that generates energy to discharge the solution from the nozzle. The number of the liquid discharge sections corresponds to the number of probe types to be formed. The nozzles are two-dimensionally arranged. Using this liquid discharging device, probe liquids are discharged from the corresponding reservoirs onto a solid-phase substrate to form a predetermined two-dimensional probe array of high-purity probes on the substrate. This process exhibits high reproducibility and processability, and the resulting probe array has high array density.
