  • Publication number: 20150184669
Abstract: Provided are a vacuum pump part and a vacuum pump suitable for performing adequately the processing of forming a coating on the surface of a fiber-reinforced composite material. In a vacuum pump part, a plating layer, which is a coating serving as a coating layer, is formed on the surface of a second cylindrical member of a cylindrical shape which is constituted by a fiber-reinforced composite material. The plating layer is formed through a removal processing step for removing a surface portion including a parting agent layer from the surface of the second cylindrical member of a cylindrical shape, and a roughening step for roughening a surface of the second cylindrical member after the surface portion including the parting agent layer has been removed.

  • Patent number: 9048668
Abstract: The charger 10 includes a first charging path that charges battery banks via current limiting resistors R1 to R3, a second charging path that charges the battery banks without passing through the current limiting resistors R1 to R3, and a circuit that is capable of selectively switching the first and second charging paths to one another, being provided to the respective battery banks, and being identical in resistance values of the current limiting resistors R1 to R3. A battery voltage detection circuit detects the voltages of the battery banks; and a controller 16 controls the first to third charging circuits so that the battery banks are charged through the first charging path when there is difference in the voltages of the battery banks. The battery banks are charged through the second charging path when there is no difference in the voltages of the battery banks.

  • Patent number: 8680814
Abstract: Charging is started with charge voltage set to a first voltage value (lower than a normal charge voltage) by a charge voltage change means, the first voltage value being predetermined to ensure that secondary batteries constituting a parallel-arrangement battery pack are charged up to and maintained at a predetermined SOC lower than full charge (between 80 and 90% of full charge). When a charge current detection means detects that charge current has decreased to a predetermined value A1, the charge voltage is set to a second voltage value (normal charge voltage) higher than the first voltage value by the charge voltage change means, the second voltage value being predetermined to enable the secondary batteries to be charged up to full charge. When a battery SOC detection means detects that at least one of the secondary batteries has reached full charge, charging is terminated.

  • Publication number: 20130209272
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to improve, using a simple configuration, heat dissipation of a regenerative resistor that is disposed in a vacuum pump control device (controller) connected to a vacuum pump. The regenerative resistor disposed in the vacuum pump control device is stored in an aluminum die-cast casing. More concretely, a housing of the vacuum pump control device is prepared by aluminum die casting (metal mold casting). A regenerative resistor storing portion (aluminum die-cast casing) provided with a hollow portion is provided on a top panel of the aluminum die cast, the hollow portion being designed to have a size accommodating the entire regenerative resistor. The regenerative resistor is fitted into the hollow portion, and an opening section of the hollow portion is sealed with an aluminum sheet of the same material as that of the casing. In this manner, the regenerative resistor can removably be stored in the aluminum die-cast casing.

  • Publication number: 20130115094
Abstract: Provided is a vacuum pump in which no finish processing has to be carried out after shaping of a cylindrical rotor even in use of a cylindrical rotor obtained by shaping a fiber-reinforced plastic material into a cylindrical shape. The vacuum pump has a turbo-molecular pump section and a thread groove pump section. The upper end section of a cylindrical rotor, which is obtained by shaping a fiber-reinforced plastic material into a cylindrical shape, of the thread groove pump section, is joined to the lower end section of a rotor of the turbo-molecular pump section. A joining portion of the rotor of the turbo-molecular pump section and the cylindrical rotor of the thread groove pump section is disposed upstream of an exhaust passage. As a result, finish processing does not have to be carried out after shaping of the cylindrical rotor.

  • Publication number: 20080297118
Abstract: A battery charging circuit includes a power supply circuit being connected via a switching element and a current-limiting resistor to a battery to subject the battery to a trickle charge, and a control circuit turning on and off the switching element on a given duty to subject the battery to the trickle charge by means of a pulsed charge. The control circuit includes an on-timing adjustment circuit detecting a battery voltage to control the duty of turning on and off the switching element. The on-timing adjustment circuit makes a duty ratio smaller in a state of a low battery voltage than in a state of a high battery voltage and turns on and off the switching element to perform the trickle charge by means of the pulsed charge.

  • Publication number: 20080274634
Abstract: Provided are a terminal structure capable of preventing damage due to an excessive force and having high sealing property, and a vacuum pump to which the terminal structure is applied. When a control device (400) undergoes transition to a turbo molecular pump main body (300), a cylindrical wall (603) of a female connector (600) is fit-engaged with a cavity (504) of a male connector (500). As the connection progresses, head portions (511a) at one ends of male pins (511) are inserted into pin insertion elongated holes (624). When, after that, a forward end of the cylindrical wall (603) of the control device (400) abuts a bottom portion (501) of the female connector (600), the female connector (600) on the control device (400) side, which is of low rigidity, is pushed back against an elastic force of waved washers (613).

  • Patent number: 7397644
Abstract: An FET for malfunction check is connected between the gate and source of an FET for power-source output control, which is connected in series in a power output line from a battery used as a power source for a load. A malfunction determination circuit determines whether the FET for power-source output control is operating normally or not, by monitoring output voltage of the FET for malfunction check. Further, the malfunction determination circuit identifies malfunction of the FET for power-source output control due to short-circuiting during actual use.

  • Patent number: 7393228
Abstract: A terminal structure has a first connector arranged at a first member, such as a vacuum pump, and a plurality of connector pins. A second member, such as a control device, is movable toward and away from the first member, and a second member side bolt is arranged at the second member. A second connector has a plurality of connecting pins and a flange portion through which the bolt passes and which is movable with respect to the bolt while the second connector is being fit-engaged with the first connector to electrically connect the connector pins of the first and second connectors. An elastic member elastically retains the flange portion and produces an elastic force that resists a push-back displacement which acts on the second connector at the moment of fit-engagement with the first connector in either a direction parallel to the bolt or in a direction inclined at an angle from the parallel direction.

  • Patent number: 7341423
Abstract: A flange of a molecular pump is connected to a vacuum vessel by first bolts that extend through elongate holes in the flange and are bolted to the vacuum vessel. One or more buffering members are attached to the flange by the first bolts that extend through first openings in the buffering members and by second bolts that extend through second openings in the buffering members and are bolted to the flange. In the event of malfunction of the molecular pump that generates an abnormally high torque, the buffering members plastically deform and absorb the shock energy caused by the abnormal torque thereby preventing damage to the vacuum vessel.
