The hog ring fastening device includes a body, a magazine attached to the body, jaws pivotally supported on the body, a main pneumatic cylinder for turning the jaws, a teed pneumatic cylinder fixed to the body and adapted to be retracted when the jaws are turned away from each other, a moving plate attached to a piston rod of the feed pneumatic cylinder, a push spring for pushing the moving plate in a feed direction with respect to a body of the feed pneumatic cylinder, a feed member provided at the moving plate, and a stopper attached to the body of the hog ring fastening device for preventing a hog ring assembly loaded on the magazine from moving in a direction opposite to the feed direction.

The fiber channel switch comprises: a plurality of connection terminals connected to a host computer and a physical storage unit via fiber channels; a storage virtualization unit producing a virtual storage unit; a first communication unit for communicating with another fiber channel switch; an access adjusting unit for adjusting an access reserve between the fiber channel switches; a unit for setting a master-slave relation between the fiber channel switches; a block control unit for blocking access between the host computer and the physical storage unit via the fiber channel switch if the fiber channel switch is set as a slave when the communication between the fiber channel switches is interrupted.

Abstract: The present invention aims at providing a general-purpose experimental tool which specifically binds to a macromolecular substance that will be a receptor for a specific ligand such as drug, and is applicable throughout various processes to explore the nature of the macromolecular substance. In order to achieve this object, a molecular module has been developed which binds to a target compound and is used for purifying or labeling the target compound, wherein the molecular module has a rod-like spacer substance, an interacting substance that interacts with the target compound, a tag and a labeling substance, the interacting substance being positioned at one end of the rod-like spacer substance, and the tag and the labeling substance being positioned at the other end of the rod-like spacer substance.

Abstract: In a disc brake apparatus, by means of an actuator which operates in accordance with an operation force, a braking piston fitted into a cylinder portion of a caliper is axially driven so as to push a pad toward a disc rotor. A friction force in a circumferential direction of the disc rotor between the pad and the disc rotor is taken out as an anchor load, and is converted to a servo load by means of a servomechanism. The servo load is applied to the braking piston. The servomechanism is equipped with a hydraulic mechanism (a pressure-reducing control valve, a pressure-increasing control valve, and a reservoir tank) capable of increasing or decreasing the servo load. An electric controller controls the hydraulic mechanism in accordance with the operation force and the anchor load.

A pressure sensor is attached to a protruding end of the stator core. A magnetic flux limiting portion is formed in the stator core at such a position which is on a side of the protruding end of the stator core toward the pressure sensor. A magnetic flux flow to the pressure sensor is limited by the magnetic flux limiting portion, so that a precise detection by the sensor can be achieved even when the sensor is arranged closer to the electromagnetic coil.
