Publication number: 20100264937Abstract: A capacitance sensing section senses a capacitance between first and second electrodes. A temperature sensing section senses fuel temperature. A microcomputer functions as a concentration sensing section and senses a concentration of ethanol contained in fuel based on the capacitance sensed by the capacitance sensing section and the temperature sensed by the temperature sensing section. The microcomputer functions as an abnormality detecting section and performs abnormality determination to determine that an abnormality has occurred in the capacitance sensing section when the capacitance sensed by the capacitance sensing section does not change and the temperature sensed by the temperature sensing section changes. Since a dielectric constant has such a temperature characteristic that the dielectric constant changes with the temperature, the abnormality detecting section can detect occurrence of the abnormality in the capacitance sensing section.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 16, 2010Publication date: October 21, 2010Applicant: DENSO CORPORATIONInventors: Jun Tarui, Akikazu Uchida, Toshiki Annoura, Hiroshi Katsurahara, Takayoshi Nakamura

Publication number: 20080117924Abstract: A data relay unit capable of relaying data communication between first and second networks interchanging different structures of data, a gateway (GW) and a method are provided. An identifier is assigned to transmission data and reception data exchanged in a GW unit. A data conversion section specifies a conversion process using reception data for generating transmission data for each transmission data piece identified by an identifier and uses a conversion table to store conversion processes. The data conversion section can generate intended transmission data based on an identifier of the transmission data to be transmitted by selecting and executing a necessary conversion process from the conversion table. Even when a method of generating transmission data is added or changed, it is only necessary to add or change a conversion process in the conversion table.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 20, 2007Publication date: May 22, 2008Applicant: DENSO CORPORATIONInventors: Takayoshi Nakamura, Hiroshi Matsuda, Katsuhiko Furuta, Katsutoshi Haruna, Akira Kurahashi, Keiichi Aoyama, Daisuke Manabe
