  • Publication number: 20080192133
Abstract: There is provided a solid-state imaging device having a pixel array section in which pixels including photoelectric conversion elements are arranged in a matrix form, and sweeping out unnecessary charges by setting a predetermined number, two or more, of adjacent rows or a predetermined number, two or more, of adjacent columns, in the pixel array section, to a single group, and by applying a shutter pulse in units of groups before storing signal charges, and sequentially reading the signal charges in the units of groups. In the solid-state imaging device, a pre-shutter pulse is applied to pixels belonging to at least a single row or a single column within a succeeding group and adjacent to a preceding group, prior to the shutter pulse, before a reading timing for the preceding group, to sweep out unnecessary charges stored in the pixels.

  • Patent number: 7279095
Abstract: Fuel supply device (10) may comprise fuel pump (20) and suction filter (40) attached to a fuel intake port (36) of fuel pump (20). Suction filter (40) may have a sheet-shaped filter body (38) and an attaching member (29). Filter body (38) has an internal filter structure (40a, 40b), and attaching member (29) attaches filter body (38) to fuel intake port (36) such that internal filter structure (40a, 40b) communicates with fuel intake port (36). Filter body (38) may be folded over to form a multi-layered structure comprising an upper filter layer (38a) and a lower filter layer (38b). Folding over the sheet-shaped filter body (38) allows a filtration area of fuel supply device (10) to be increased while preventing an increase in the size of fuel supply device (10).

  • Patent number: 7139026
Abstract: An imaging device reads an output level of a pixel circuit constituting a pixel array by supplying current to the pixel circuit. It reads a signal level and reset level from the pixel circuit by supplying it with the current from a current source circuit, and stores them into a line memory. A pixel level of the pixel circuit is obtained by a differential amplifier that outputs the difference between the signal level and reset level of the same pixel circuit. The gate potential of a current copier transistor that supplies the read current is set at a value that enables the read current to take a constant value from column to column of the pixel array. The image device can suppress variations in the current copier circuit provided for each array column of the pixel circuits, thereby reducing string-like noise in the image picked up.

  • Patent number: 6837675
Abstract: A fuel pump capable of using the pump efficiency most efficiently without reducing the useful service life is provided. A relatively large clearance allowing for the expected amount of wear is ensured in a region where the flow passage groove pressure is low. In a region where the flow passage groove pressure is high, it is unnecessary to allow for the wear. Therefore, the clearance is set relatively small.

  • Patent number: 6732864
Abstract: A method for measuring strength of an image forming surface of a planographic printing plate. In this method, an image forming surface of a planographic printing plate is contacted with a non-image forming surface of another planographic printing plate, a weight of predetermined mass is placed thereon, and the planographic printing plates are slid against each other in a direction along the image forming surface. A maximum value of pressure that does not generate damage when applied to the image forming surface of the lower planographic printing plate is used as strength of the image forming surface. By stacking and packaging planographic printing plates having an image forming surface strength of no less than a specified value, damage to the image forming surfaces of the planographic printing plates in a packaged state can be prevented.

  • Publication number: 20030118438
Abstract: A fuel pump improved in pump efficiency is provided. An impeller rotating in a pump casing has an approximately disk-shaped configuration with a group of recesses formed in a region extending along the outer peripheries of the obverse and reverse sides of the impeller. The recesses are repeatedly arranged at a distance between each other in the circumferential direction with a partition provided between each pair of adjacent recesses. The radially inner and outer end portions of the partition are positioned on the same radius, and the radially middle portion of the partition is curved rearward in the direction of rotation of the impeller. With this fuel pump, the incidence of separation or vortex formation in the flow of fuel is minimized, and a high pump efficiency can be obtained. It is preferable that the maximum amount of curvature of the partition should be from 0.1 to 1.

  • Patent number: 6547075
Abstract: A packaging structure of planographic printing plates and an internal packaging material for the plates, which reliably protect the planographic printing plates from an external force, and which block the plates from light and keep the plates free from moisture; wherein the internal packaging material and an external packaging material are easily recycled. A stack of the planographic printing plates is internally packaged in the internal packaging material, whose light transmittance is a predetermined value or lower, and the stack is further packaged in the external packaging material. Light coming from the exterior of the closed external packaging material to the interior thereof becomes faint, and moreover, the planographic printing plates are prevented from accidental exposure due to a light-blocking property of the internal packaging material.
