Abstract: A package of photosensitive planographic printing plates which comprises a stack of the photosensitive planographic printing plates between each of which a protection paper is interposed, wherein the coefficient of static friction between the surface of the photosensitive layer of the photosensitive planographic printing plate and the surface of the protection paper is 0.3 or more. In the package, slippage between the photosensitive planographic printing plate and the protection paper and abrasion of the photosensitive layer rarely occur through transport.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for printing, comprising the steps of: a) developing an image forming surface of a planographic printing plate; b) after the developing, hydrophilizing a portion of a vicinity of an edge of the image forming surface; c) after the hydrophilizing, adhering ink to the image forming surface; and d) transferring the ink to a printing target.

Abstract: In a method of packaging planographic printing plates disclosed herein, a stack is formed by planographic printing plates and interleaf sheets, or by only planographic printing plates. The stack is packaged with internal packaging paper without using conventional protective cardboard. In a packaging structure for planographic printing plates, the stack is loaded on a loading member and a top plate is placed on the stack. The stack and the loading member are integrally bound with a fixing band made of resin without using a conventional bolt-fastening operation. A reinforcing plate is fixed onto the top plate correspondingly to the fixing band so as to prevent bending or deformation of the top plate.

Abstract: Disclosed are compounds represented by formula (I) and pharmaceutically acceptable salts and solvates thereof. The compounds can inhibit the biosynthesis of triglycerides in the liver and can inhibit the secretion of lipoprotein containing apolipoprotein B from the liver. Therefore, they are useful for the prevention or treatment of hyperlipidemia (particularly hyper-very-low-density-lipoproteinemia) and arteriosclerotic diseases, such as cardiac infarction, or pancreatitis induced by hyperlipidemia.

Abstract: Disclosed are compounds represented by formula (I) and pharmaceutically acceptable salts and solvates thereof. Abstract: A method for measuring strength of an image forming surface of a planographic printing plate. In this method, an image forming surface of a planographic printing plate is contacted with a non-image forming surface of another planographic printing plate, a weight of predetermined mass is placed thereon, and the planographic printing plates are slid against each other in a direction along the image forming surface. A maximum value of pressure that does not generate damage when applied to the image forming surface of the lower planographic printing plate is used as strength of the image forming surface. By stacking and packaging planographic printing plates having an image forming surface strength of no less than a specified value, damage to the image forming surfaces of the planographic printing plates in a packaged state can be prevented.

Abstract: The interleaf paper for covering a photosensitive printing plate material which is coated with a water-soluble oxidization preventing layer, is characterized in that the interleaf paper has air permeability of between about 15 seconds and about 300 seconds. If the photosensitive printing plate material is covered with the interleaf paper, it is possible to release the interleaf paper in the automatic interleaf paper releasing apparatus and stabilize the sensitivity of the photosensitive printing plate material in a short period of time.
