  • Patent number: 7336432
Abstract: An optical pickup includes at least a laser light source emitting a laser beam, a collimator lens system including a plurality of lenses for collimating the light beam emitted from the laser light source and incident thereupon as diffused light, and an objective lens. The laser beam transmitted through the collimator lens system is incident upon the objective lens. The collimator lens system includes a first lens unit held so as to be movable in an optical axis direction of the laser beam and a fixed second lens unit.

  • Publication number: 20070091935
Abstract: An audio recovery circuit is supplied with a video clock VCK that synchronizes with a video clock of a sending side recovered according to a frame synchronizing signal generated based on an incoming stream. The audio recovery circuit includes a PLL circuit for multiplying and dividing VCK to generate an audio master clock MCK, a counting circuit for counting the number of MCKs in one frame, and a cycle adjusting circuit for generating an audio bit clock BCK from a specified number of MCKs. The cycle adjusting circuit adjusts a cycle of BCK in a unit of MCK so that the number of clocks corresponds with the number of samples, according to the number of audio samples to be sent and the number of current MCK.

  • Patent number: 5782978
Abstract: A fluid application apparatus of the present invention includes a rotatable substrate holding mechanism (4), a photoresist liquid supply portion (5) and a motor mechanism (26). The photoresist liquid supply portion (5) supplies resist fluid to a region smaller than the entire region of the substrate surface while moving in the horizontal direction relative to the substrate holding mechanism (4). The motor mechanism (26) rotates the substrate holding mechanism (4) to diffuse the resist fluid over the entire surface of the substrate and form a resist layer having a predetermined thickness.

  • Patent number: 5071498
Abstract: A method of bending back a tire component, comprising a step in which the diameters of a pair of cylindrical bodies, whose diameters can be increased and decreased, are decreased to a minimum value to hold beads by the bodies, respectively, and the beads are set in prescribed positions on the component wound on a forming drum; a step in which the diameters of the bodies are increased to an intermediate value and the bladders of the drum are inflated so that the component is pinch-held at both side edges thereof by the bladders and the bodies; a step in which the bodies are moved to positions located nearly outside the beads in the radial directions of the bodies, so that both the side edges of the component are moved outward in the radial directions of the bodies as the component remains in pressure contact with the beads near the side edges; and a step in which the diameters of the bodies are increased to a maximum value and the bodies are thereafter moved toward the longitudinally central portion of the dru

  • Patent number: 4892609
Abstract: An automatic feeder for feeding tire building materials in a tire building machine, which is installed on a base plate and mainly comprises two stock rolls arranged on the side of supplying tire building materials (rubber sheet materials), cloth inspection means (not shown), multistage first feeders provided with automatic cutting apparatus and centering apparatus, second feeders arranged on the discharging side of the first feeders, and a tire-forming drum apparatus arranged on the discharging side of the second feeder, and which ensures that many kinds of tire building materials can be subjected to an automatic cloth inspection and automatic cutting and be efficiently fed by one feeder without the need for a large installation space.

  • Patent number: 4687942
Abstract: In a method of reading a concavo-convex bar code disposed on the surface of an article, the improvement comprising the steps of scanning the concavo-convex bar code by a displacement sensor to detect the concavo-convexity, determining the areas of the resulting concavo-convex waveforms, and comparing the area thus obtained with the reference areas of the thick and thin bars of the bar code to judge the pattern of the bar code.
