    Abstract: A heat-sensitive plate is substantially rectangular, has its one end portion fixed to a second terminal plate and has a movable contact mounted on the other end portion. The one side of the heat-sensitive plate facing a fixed contact forms a high expansion coefficient side and the other side a low expansion coefficient side. The heat-sensitive plate has a protrusion protrusively provided on the low expansion coefficient side centrally thereof by press working with a small outer diameter and a large curvature, and an annular press-thinned portion formed by press working concentrically with the protrusion and having an inner diameter appreciably larger than the outer diameter of the protrusion. In the initial state the heat-sensitive plate is held curved in a funnel shape protrusive about the protrusion on the low expansion coefficient side.

    Abstract: In a circuit-protector-built-in power plug, the plug body has in its front a curved concavity, in which plug terminals are planted, a circuit protector which interrupts the circuit when supplied with excess current, and a reset knob for resetting the circuit to its closed state through manipulation from the outside the plug body. The reset knob is so disposed in the concavity that it does not protrude beyond the surface of the plug body. A slidable lid covering the concavity prevents access to the reset knob when the plug terminals are inserted into receptacles.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a co-axial connector for a high frequency cable which includes a slit in the earth metal fittings. The slit enables the earth metal fittings to be widened and allows insertion of an insulating bushing into the earth metal fittings. After insertion, the slit returns to its home position by the spring tension of the earth metal fittings and retains the insulating bushing by spring tension. This configuration makes assembly easier. Furthermore, after the insertion of the insulating bushing into the earth metal fitting, a shielding cylinder is engaged with the earth metal fittings in order to cover the rear end of the earth metal fittings. This configuration prevents high-frequency signals from leaking, and does not require the widening of the slit, while connected to the other connectors, which loosens the engagement between the earth metal fittings and the insulating bushing.

    Abstract: A cable connector includes a plug for connecting a coaxial cable to an electronic device such as a television or video cassette recorder. The plug includes a sleeve that connects with a first grounding terminal of a receptacle. An outer diameter of the sleeve is dimensioned to provide a good unstressed interference fit with the first grounding terminal. The sleeve has slits in a portion to permit elastic deformation when connecting with a second grounding terminal having an inner diameter less than that of the first grounding terminal. These slits permit the sleeve to compress sufficiently to form an interference fit inside the second grounding terminal. When both the first grounding terminal of the receptacle and the sleeve of the plug are dimensioned for the PAL format, and the second grounding terminal is dimensioned for the SECAM format, the plug fits either grounding terminal.

    Abstract: A balun transformer with a common mode coil is formed by parallel two-strand cable wound around a common core having through-holes through which the cable passes. The common mode coil can be connected either on the input side or the output side of the balun transformer. Because only one core is used to form both the balun transformer and the common mode coil, the outer dimensions of the transformer can be reached, along with manufacturing costs, to reduce the number of man-hours required to manufacture the transformer by this invention. This configuration also permits shorter connections between the balun transformer and the common mode coil.

    Abstract: A throttle control apparatus includes an accelerator operation mechanism, a driving source generating driving force in response to at least an operation amount of the accelerator operation mechanism, a throttle shaft fixing a throttle valve of an internal combustion engine thereto and supported on a housing so as to be able to rotate, an electromagnetic clutch mechanism being intermittent a connection between the throttle shaft and the driving source and having a dog clutch which transmits the driving force of the driving source to the throttle shaft and a driving control device for controlling the electromagnetic clutch and the driving source and opening and closing the throttle valve. According to this constitution, when the electromagnetic clutch mechanism operates, the driving source is connected with the throttle shaft via the dog clutch and the driving force of the driving source is immediately transmitted to the throttle shaft.

    Abstract: A membrane switch sheet is disposed on a base plate and an adhesive layer is formed all over the membrane switch sheet. A positioning sheet, which has positioning holes respectively corresponding to membrane switches arranged on the membrane switch sheet, is disposed on the adhesive layer, and a tact plate having a normally upward curved portion is bonded to the adhesive layer in each positioning hole. A mounting plate is disposed on the positioning sheet at a distance therefrom. The mounting plate has a sleeve at a position corresponding to each tact plate. A stem is slidably received in the sleeve. The stem is capped with a key top formed integrally therewith. An acutating coiled spring is fixed at one end and engaged at the other end with the tact plate. When the key top is depressed, the coiled spring presses down the corresponding membrane switch through the tact plate, turning on the switch.

    Abstract: A five-component copolyester not described in the prior art literature which comprises at least five components, i.e. (a) two aromatic dicarboxylic acid components composed of a major amount of an isophthalic acid component and a minor amount of another dicarboxylic acid component, (b) a diol component composed of an ethylene glycol component and optionally another diol component, (c) an aromatic monohydroxy-monocarboxylic acid component and (d) a polyfunctional compound component having at least three functional groups. The copolyester has excellent melt moldability, mechanical strength, transparency and gas-barrier property in a well balanced combination, and shows improved properties over conventional copolyesters containing a major amount of isophthalic acid as a dicarboxylic acid component.

    Abstract: A device to be connected between the engine and power train of a construction vehicle or the like for damping the fluctuations of the engine output torque. The damper comprises a drive plate and a retaining plate coaxially connected to each other for simultaneous rotation, and a driven plate coaxially mounted between the drive and retaining plates for angular displacement within limits. Mounted between the retaining plate and the driven plate are a friction plate and a disc spring, with the friction plate being biased by the disc spring into frictional contact with the driven plate. The friction plate has a conical contact surface which, under the bias of the disc spring, makes frictional contact with the driven plate under even pressure. Two other friction plates lie between the drive and driven plates and make frictional contact with the driven plate and with an intermediate plate in positive engagement with the driven plate.
