  • Publication number: 20110245435
Abstract: A process for continuously preparing copolyamides from lactams and salts of diamines and dicarboxylic acids, in which lactams together with salts of diamines and dicarboxylic acids are passed from the top downward through a vertical polymerization tube at polyamide-forming temperatures, which comprises a) intensively mixing an aqueous solution of lactams with salts of diamines and dicarboxylic acids under elevated pressure which is greater than the vapor pressure of the mixture which arises in a mixing apparatus at a temperature of from 80 to 300° C., b) feeding the mixture thus obtained to a heated helical tube evaporator in which a liquid phase and a vapor phase form at a temperature of from 140 to 300° C.

  • Publication number: 20110072462
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes determining, at a set-top box device, first interaction data based on user interaction with a first portion of an electronic program guide that is displayable via the set-top box device. The computer-implemented method includes performing an analysis of the first interaction data and the first portion of the electronic program guide. The computer-implemented method also includes identifying a second portion of the electronic program guide based on the analysis. The computer-implemented method further includes modifying the electronic program guide to display the second portion of the electronic program guide adjacent to a location of the first portion of the electronic program guide.

  • Publication number: 20080212667
Abstract: A multi-tap delay has a graphical user interface in which each delay tap is represented by a bar on a time line. The bars are oriented across the time line, the position of each bar on the time line specifying the amount of delay time of the represented delay tap. The length of each bar specifies the value of another parameter of the represented delay tap.

  • Patent number: 6722396
Abstract: A method in which large-volume gas containers, for example, airships having a gas holding capacity of, for example, 400,000 m3, can be filled with a process gas, includes first completely filling the container with an auxiliary gas, the density of which differs from that of the process gas. The process gas is then quiescently introduced into an upper area of the gas container in such a way that no significant mixing with the air occurs and, at the same time, the auxiliary gas is removed by suction from the lower area of the gas container. To purify the contents of the gas container, purified or fresh process gas is quiescently introduced into the upper area of the gas container in such a way that no significant mixing with the contaminated process gas present in the gas container. At the same time, the contaminated process gas is removed by suction from the lower area of the gas container. To empty the gas container, the above-described process is reversed.
