  • Publication number: 20060166772
Abstract: A hybrid driving unit (7) in which a second electric motor (23) is disposed on the side closer to the front (the side closer to an internal combustion engine (5)) than a first electric motor (20). A casing member (14) is formed such that an inner diameter of a part thereof in which a stator (28) of the second electric motor (23) is fixed is larger than that of a part in which a stator of the first electric motor (20) is fixed. It allows the second electric motor (23) to be constructed so as to have a large radial dimension and to that extent, allows the length thereof in the longitudinal direction to be suppressed. Accordingly, it allows the length of the whole hybrid driving unit (7) to be shortened.

  • Publication number: 20060094559
Abstract: A planetary gear unit PR and a clutch C3 for outputting reduced speed rotation and a clutch C1 for connecting and disconnecting input of rotation of an input shaft to a sun gear S2 are located on one axial side of a planetary gear unit PU, and a clutch C2 for connecting and disconnecting input of rotation of the input shaft to the carrier CR2 is located on the axially opposite of the planetary gear unit PU. By doing so, as compared to a case wherein, for example, a clutch C1 and clutch C2 are both located between a pair of planetary gear units PR and PU, the planetary gear units PR and PU can be located more closely together, and the member that transmits the reduced speed rotation from planetary gear unit PR to planetary gear unit PU can be made shorter. Further, compared to the case wherein, for example, the clutches C1, C2, C3 are located on one axial side of the planetary gear units, the construction of the oil lines is simplified.

  • Publication number: 20050245344
Abstract: A first planetary gear unit PR and a clutch C3 for outputting reduced speed rotation are located on one axial side of a second planetary gear unit PU, and a clutch C1 for connecting and disconnecting an input shaft 2 to/from a sun gear S2 and a clutch C2 for connecting and disconnecting the input shaft 2 input to/from a carrier CR2 are located on the other axial side of the second planetary gear unit PU. An output mechanism is located between the first and second planetary gear units. As compared with a drivetrain wherein the clutch C1 or clutch C2 is located between the two planetary gear units, the two planetary gear units can be located closer together, and a transmitting member that transmits the reduced speed rotation can be made shorter. Further, compared to a drivetrain wherein the clutches C1, C2, C3 are located together on one axial side, the oil supply to the hydraulic servos can be simplified.

  • Publication number: 20050227804
Abstract: A second planetary gear unit PR and a clutch C1 for outputting reduced speed rotation are located on one axial side of a first planetary gear unit PU, with an output unit located therebetween. • Publication number: 20040255904
Abstract: The invention includes a target-engine-speed acquisition element that acquires a target engine speed necessary to reduce engine speed, thereby stopping the engine at a target stop position; a crank-angle acquisition element that acquires a crank angle indicative of the position of a crankshaft; and a target-engine-speed correction element that corrects the target engine speed according to the acquired crank angle. Because the target engine speed is corrected according to the crank angle, the engine can be stopped at the target stop position even if the friction in the engine, the electric motor, etc. varies, the temperature or viscosity of the lubricating and cooling oils varies, or the vehicle is accelerated or decelerated during the reduction of the engine speed.

  • Patent number: 6176802
Abstract: A reduction in the weight and size of a speed-change mechanism is obtained by shortening a high-torque transmission system. The speed-change shock is attenuated by reducing an inertia torque in a muilti-stage vehicular automatic transmission. The vehicular automatic transmission is equipped with a planetary gear set that receives a decelerated rotation and a non-decelerated rotation as inputs and outputs a plurality of speed-change rotations, a reduction planetary gear, an input shaft that passes through an inner side of the planetary gear set, first and third clutches that couple the input shaft to two different speed-change elements of the planetary gear set respectively through the reduction planetary gear in an engageable and disengageable manner, and a second clutch that couples the input shaft to the other speed-change element of the planetary gear set in an engageable and disengageable manner.
