  • Publication number: 20090026675
Abstract: A vibration damping device having a rubber heat-insulating cover wherein a strike plate portion and a pair of leg portions of a stopper member have detaining slots opening towards an outside, and two side walls of the detaining slot of the strike plate portion has stepped portions of notched shape disposed in its heightwise distal edge section. Center hook portions are formed on an outside face of a center section of the rubber heat-insulating cover, while outside hook portions are formed on an outside face of a peripheral wall portion of the rubber heat-insulating cover. The center hook portions are engaged with the two side walls of the detaining slot, and the outside hook portions are engaged with the two side walls of the detaining slots in the leg portions. Two end faces of the center hook portions are held in abutment against stepped faces at either end of the stepped portions in both side walls of the detaining slot.

  • Publication number: 20090026672
Abstract: A vibration damping device having a rubber heat-insulating cover wherein the rubber heat-insulating cover is formed as a separate component from a stopper member and is disposed between the stopper member and a main rubber elastic body connecting a first and second mounting member. The rubber heat-insulating cover is fixed to the stopper member with a center section of the rubber heat-insulating cover juxtaposed from an inner face side against a strike plate portion of the stopper member to be supported by the strike plate portion. With a peripheral wall section of the rubber heat-insulating cover juxtaposed from the inner face side against leg portions of the stopper member to be supported by the leg portions. A cushioning rubber is integrally formed with the center section of the rubber heat-insulating cover supported on the strike plate portion, and projects towards the first mounting member.

  • Patent number: 7413174
Abstract: A fluid-filled type vibration-damping device having: an elastic body connecting first and a second mounting members; a pressure-receiving chamber formed axially below the main rubber elastic body and partially defined by the main rubber elastic body; an equilibrium chamber formed between the main rubber elastic body and a flexible film by disposing the flexible film so as to cover an outside face of the main rubber elastic body; and an orifice passage through which both chambers communicate with each other. An equilibrium-chamber-side opening of the orifice passage is situated in proximity to an axial lower end of the outside face of the elastic body. A guide groove extending axially upward is formed in proximity to the equilibrium-chamber-side opening. A projecting rib projects from the flexible film towards the guide groove is formed extending along the guide groove.

  • Publication number: 20060220289
Abstract: A vibration-damping device having a first and a second mounting member elastically connected together by means of a main rubber elastic body; a resin bracket of generally tubular shape fastened fitting externally onto said second mounting member; and a rubber stopper having a through-hole formed in its basal end portion and supported by means of an engaging recess of the resin bracket. An inside width dimension of the engaging recess is wider at a bottom side portion than an opening portion so that an anchor shaped basal end portion of the rubber stopper fits inserted within said engaging recess, and the through-hole in the basal end portion of the rubber stopper is filled with the retaining resin element.
