Publication number: 20060114690Abstract: Light color beams respectively from LEDs formed on an LED array substrate are allowed to enter one edge of second light guide plates for color mixing, which is arranged to either side of the LEDs. In each of the second light guide plates, color mixing of the respective color light beams occurs with increasing distance from this one edge, and thereby white light is obtained. This white light is guided out through the other edge of the second guide light plate, is reflected by a second reflection plate, and then is allowed to enter either of two opposite edges of a first light guide plate. The white light having entered the first light guide plate is radiated out from a front surface thereof.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 10, 2005Publication date: June 1, 2006Inventors: Seiji Iki, Toshiyuki Morita

Patent number: 7034334Abstract: In a liquid crystal display apparatus, a conductive agent is spread on a surface of the polarizing plate adhered to a substrate 12 disposed on an opposite side of another substrate 12 to which a color filter is adhered, so that the spread conductive agent has a resistance of 1×109 ohms/square. A protective film is adhered on the spread conductive agent. By this technique, static electricity generated at the time when the protective film is peeled off is uniformly distributed on the surface of the polarizing plate, thereby not generating non-uniform electrification of the static electricity. As a result, display non-uniformity due to the non-uniform electrification is not generated, and therefore it is not required to conduct an electrification removal operation of the static electricity which takes a long time.Type: GrantFiled: July 15, 1999Date of Patent: April 25, 2006Assignee: NEC CorporationInventor: Toshiyuki Morita

Publication number: 20060020513Abstract: A poster with an RF IC tag is adhered to a poster adhering unit. ID information of the poster is read from the RF IC tag with an RF IC tag reader and sent to a control device. By using this tag ID information, the control device acquires detailed information on each of advertisement contents of the poster adhered to the poster adhering unit, from a contents server. As a user points out a position of the advertisement contents to which the user paid attention, the control device detects the pointed position from an output of ultrasonic sensors, and provides the user with the detailed information by using a display and a speaker in a contents reproducing unit.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 21, 2005Publication date: January 26, 2006Inventors: Hirofumi Nagano, Toshiyuki Morita, Shinya Iguchi, Fumio Saito, Ken Hirai, Miki Numata, Kaichi Nomura, Toshio Ariyoshi
