  • Publication number: 20170197852
Abstract: An adequate control of a pH of circulating water circulating through a wet paint booth enables an efficient coagulation treatment of a paint included in the circulating water. A method for treating circulating water circulating through a wet paint booth and including a paint includes treating the paint included in the circulating water by adding an alkaline solution of a phenolic resin to the circulating water, and adjusting a pH of the circulating water to 6.5 to 8.0. An amount of the alkaline solution of the phenolic resin added to the circulating water is increased when the pH of the circulating water is a predetermined value of 8.0 or less. An acidic aluminum salt is further added to the circulating water. An amount of the acidic aluminum salt added to the circulating water is increased when the pH of the circulating water is a predetermined value of 6.5 or more.

  • Patent number: 9696694
Abstract: A technique that allows determination of appropriate control parameter values automatically. A constraint evaluation indicator setting unit sets, to each of a plurality of additional constraints, a third evaluation indicator obtained by combining a first evaluation indicator that indicates a level of influence on other control parameters when a control parameter is changed, and a second evaluation indicator that indicates weight according to a property including importance and the like. A constraint satisfaction solution retrieve unit retrieves a combination of control parameter values that satisfies constraints. When the constraint satisfaction solution retrieve unit fails to retrieve the combination of control parameter values, a constraint relaxing unit relaxes the additional constraints in accordance with the third evaluation indicator.

  • Publication number: 20160289322
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an antibody having antagonistic effect against IL-33, in particular an isolated human anti-IL-33 neutralizing monoclonal antibody wherein amino acid sequences of framework regions are amino acid sequences that are amino acid sequences from a germline or a combination of amino acid sequences thereof, or a fragment thereof. The epitopes for a plurality of anti-IL-33 monoclonal antibodies were identified, human anti-IL-33 neutralizing monoclonal antibodies were obtained, and the complementarity-determining regions that achieve high binding ability to IL-33 was specified by introducing mutations in the complementarity-determining regions. The identified complementarity-determining regions were used to produce a human anti-IL-33 neutralizing monoclonal antibody having framework regions comprising amino acid sequences that are amino acid sequences of a germline or a combination of amino acid sequences thereof.

  • Publication number: 20070253053
Abstract: A polarization stabilizing device and method based on controlling the phase retardations of a pair of variable rotators with an optically interposed quarter-wave plate, with a controller such that the first of the variable rotators has its phase retardation switched between first and second values whenever the phase retardation of the second of the variable rotators reaches an upper or a lower limit. The upper and lower limits of the second rotator and the first and second values of the first rotator are chosen so that discontinuities in the power of the output optical radiation are avoided when the first variable rotator is switched, thereby providing endless polarization stabilization using rotators that themselves may have limited retardation ranges.
